Concert Review William Control – Munich, Backstage/Werk, 11/24/2014, Contributed by Alexandra

Contributed by Alexandra Going through concert announcements a few weeks ago, I spotted William Control playing in Munich. Unfortunately not a headliner tour, but some acts you just need to see live any opportunity you can get. It was William Control’s first time in Germany with this project. Last time was seven years ago with Aiden. That evening he opened for Combichrist. As it is common in Munich and probably some others places too, the room’s not really crowded, when the opening act gets on stage. I couldn’t say how many people really heard of William Control before. If they’d known more about him, there definitely would’ve been more people at the beginning of his show. He started the set with ‘All due restraint’ from the 2010 released album ‘Noir’. Throughout the show he played songs from all his albums ‘Novus Ordo seclorum’, ‘Hate culture’ and ‘Neuromancer’. One of our favorite bands, 9Electric has announced that they will be joining EMPHATIC on their Break The Ice Tour. The tour will kick off on December 3rd in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Guests on the tour also include Kaleido. Nevada Rose album announce dates for Down With The Sound Tour

Wayne Static found dead at age 48

We have just received the following information which just devastates me! ******************** Static-X Founder Wayne Static Passed Away At Age 48 November 1, 2014 – Platinum selling musician Wayne Richard Wells, better known as WAYNE STATIC, passed away at the age of 48. WAYNE STATIC was the enigmatic former frontman and namesake of Static-X, who later forged a successful solo career. Wayne was scheduled to co-headline tours with Powerman 5000 and Drowning Pool over the next several months. Cyanotic deliver their angry robot noises to the DNA crowd in San Francisco

Sunday night in San Francisco was an awesome one. While many were watching the SF Giants shut out the Kansas City Royals in game 5 of the World Series, we were excited to be at the Termintour at the Above DNA Lounge. We were blown away by The Rabid Whole and you can read more about them here. But the magic of the music didn’t end there, Cyanotic came out and completely dominated the DNA as they unleashed their angry robot noises to the crowd. It was fierce and their style of music can be described as part electronic rock blended with punk angst vocals and sprinkled with aggressive metal.
