March 2, 2016

We are pleased to announce Michael Franti and Spearhead as our featured BottleRock Napa Band of the Day today. We are so excited to see Michael return to BottleRock as he truly feeds your soul with his amazing music. Last year the crowds went wild when Michael was performing on stage or simply doing an acoustic song or two as he traveled the festival site. Michael has just announced his Soul Rocker Tour for this summer.  Michael tells more about it, “I make music because I believe it can change people’s lives and make a difference in the world — it has the power to give us new energy and connects us to a stronger sense of purpose. This summer’s tour will be an opportunity for us all to come together, to celebrate life, each other and what it truly feels like to be alive. It will be a great summer to rock out! See y’all on the road for the SOULROCKER TOUR!” soul·rocker 1. One who lives from the heart, with compassion for all, [Read More]

BottleRock Napa Featured Band of the Day is The Deadlies

March 1, 2016

We are set to kick off our BottleRock Napa Featured Band of the Day. What better way to kick it off than with the fun surf punk rock band, The Deadlies. They are truly one of the funnest bands to check out during the festival. The Deadlies can be described as a California surf punk/rock band with a little Honky Tonk and Country thrown in.  One thing is for sure, when you listen to The Deadlies, you can’t help but move around and have some fun! They are “paying homage to the Ventures Dick Dale and the Chantays as well as the California Honky-tonk sound of Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam while keeping an under lying presence of the California surf punk scene that brought us the Dickies, Agent Orange and Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs.” We caught up with a couple of the guys at NAMM 2016 check out our quick chat: Band Members: James Patrick Regan – Guitar Bob St. Laurent – Bass Tymber – Drums Music:  The Deadlies  available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-deadlies/id994717753 [Read More]

One of our all time favorite, favorite bands, Delta Rose has announced an indefinite hiatus. They announced the hiatus on their Facebook page with the following post: It has been a great ride with Delta Rose, but for now, the ride is over. We have decided to take an indefinite hiatus as a group, and to pursue other directions individually. This is not a reflection of our great friendship, but an interest in attempting something new. We appreciate all of our fans who have supported us along the way and will forever be grateful for you. There is no way to articulate how much we love you all, and we hope that you will support us in our new ventures. Thank you!!! \m/ I absolutely love this band and yes, it will be sad to  not hear them play together but I am also very excited for what is in store for these talented musicians. These guys have a great friendship and have been some of the best guys in the business.  We look forward [Read More]
