Digital Summer release video for “This City”

January 9, 2014

Digital Summer just released their Official Music Video for their song, “This City” which is off their acoustic album, “After Hours: Unplugged & Rewired” and is available on Itunes and other digital retail outlets.  The song is beautiful and was written about Digital Summer‘s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Check out the amazing video for “This City” here:   Digital Summer had quite a busy year in 2013. Did you  know they now even have their own brand of Whiskey as well as their Headbanger Wine? Their wine is even the Official Shiprocked Cruise WIne and Digital Summer will also be performing during this month’s cruise.  Their acoustic album is spectacular and being an acoustic album, you truly feel the emotion come through the music and is soul touching.  If you don’t have it yet, make sure to pick it up. It definitely is one of my top 5 favorite album releases of 2013! They are also working on a busy 2014 with plans in the works for touring and we can’t wait to see them once [Read More]

From Ashes to New release new video for Stay This Way

January 8, 2014

From Ashes to New is a great group of six talented musicians from Pennsylvania. These guys were each known before for playing in bands in their local scene. Unfortunately, many bands are short lived or members change. Then you seem to be left with the truly faithful musicians who live their passion for music in everything that they do. What is even better, is gathering those musicians to form their own band. They not only bring their years of experience but their variety of musical influences. From Ashes to New is just that, almost a “super group” of sorts. These six guys came together and formed their band and in the short amount of time, are garnering a lot of well deserved attention. They currently have their self titled EP out and available on Itunes here. Who is Froms Ashes to New? You have Matt Brandyberry and Chris Musser on Vocals, Dan Kecki and  Branden “Boo” Kreider on Guitars, Jon-Mikel Valudes on Drums and Garrett Russell on Bass. Ready to check them out? Raiju delivers a fresh new sound that is highly addictive and you will love!

January 5, 2014

Straight from one of the most politically liberal towns in the U.S. comes a band delivering one of the freshest new sounds in progressive metal/rock bands out today. Raiju is comprised of five suave musicians who together blend the great sounds of metal, pop, rock, and progressive into their own highly addictive music style.  Even though they bring to mind a familiarity of bands like Dream Theater, Of Mice and Mine, Bring Me The Horizon and Pierce the Veil, they truly stand out with their originality and forging ahead to create their own unique sound. Their song Pasquale is the perfect song to get yourself acquainted to this new band. You not only hear some kick ass metal guitars but raging  high octane drums. The vocals just capture you and you are drawn into the melodious metal riffs. Definitely a great song that you will soon be adding to your playlist. Amazing work guys! So who is Raiju? You have Scott Wagner on  Lead & Rhythm Vocals, Bobby Carroll on Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Darby Keith on Lead & [Read More]

The String Theory captures Heart, Soul and Rock ‘n Roll with their new album.

January 2, 2014

Straight from Independence, Kentucky is one of the most promising new Indie Rock bands for 2014… The String Theory.  This powerful trio brings to life a culmination of sounds from blues, hard rock, metal, funk and so much more. In a world where so much  music has been compartmentalized to fit a genre or sub-genre standard, it is awesome to see a band just put their full attention to putting out GREAT MUSIC! That is exactly what The String Theory does. They clearly capture, Heart, Soul and Rock and Roll. The String Theory is David Cahill on Vocals and Guitar, Andrew Sterner on Bass and Vocals and Tristan Arnold on Drums. These three combined, create a big powerful sound that deserves your attention. I had the opportunity to listen to their new album, “Falling Like The Sun” and I am hooked on this band. The whole album is filled with well-written, energetic and fun songs. The album starts right off with energy and attitude on the first track, Falling Like The Sun. David Cahill’s vocals start in with a punk [Read More]
