Hey Violet releases new video for I’m There

May 30, 2015

One of our longtime favorite bands, Hey Violet have put out a new video. The video is for their song, I’m There and I love how it captures the innocence of this fast rising band. One thing you will always remember about Hey Violet is the honesty and passion that they put in their music. They are some of the most determined hard working bands I have seen out there and especially at their young age. Check out the new video here: We can’t wait for them to return from touring overseas and set out on their US tour with 5SOS on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out. The Tour has been travelling across Europe, and will then head to Canada and US! Girlschool deliver a night of non-stop rock on their Guilty As Sin Tour

May 26, 2015

If you love Rock and Roll, Sunday night at Slim’s in San Francisco was the place to be.  Girlschool was bringing their Guilty As Sin Tour to San Francisco and it was one non-stop rockin night. The night started off with a set from Velvet Black and they bring a blues infused swamp rock style to their sound. It is energetic and addictive. The powerful trio are from Canada and they definitely have me looking forward to checking them out further.   Next up was Old James from Canada. These guys came out and ROCKED the house. They had the energy of early Van Halen with a Ted Nugent vibe and wrapped in guitar heavy hard rock. They were fierce as they captivated the crowd, who might not have been familiar with their music. One thing is for sure, they left Slim’s knowing who Old James was and I am sure like myself, they have found their new favorite band! We were excited to see the return of Sweden’s Crucified Barbara to San Francisco. We caught [Read More]

Billy Idol releases video for new single, Save Me Now

May 12, 2015

Billy Idol has just released a cinematic video for his song, Save Me Now which is off his latest album, Kings & Queens of the Underground. The clip follows a priest and a police officer on a wild ride set against the stark, desolate California landscape, accompanied by a leading lady entwined in the drama. In describing the video, Kirk said:  “I went for a concept which very much took the lyrics of ‘Save Me Now’ and turned them into a surreal story that I felt was as true to the very visual lyrics as possible. I loved the image of a bruised cop and a priest trapped inside a car.”     Catch Billy Idol out on tour, check the dates below: DATE CITY VENUE TUE 5/26 Atlanta, GA The Tabernacle FRI 5/29 New York, NY Pier 97 SAT 5/30 Columbia, MD Sweetlife Festival TUE 6/2 Richmond, VA The National THU 6/4 Portland, ME Maine State Pier FRI 6/5 Morristown, NJ Mayo Performing Arts Center   THU 6/11 Isle of Wight, UK Isle of Wight Festival SAT 6/13 Glasgow, UK O2 Academy [Read More]
