State Line Empire have just released their new song, Kill It With Fire. It is a bad ass new track that will get you amped up and ready to rock! In addition to the new single, State Line Empire will be performing tomorrow night at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco as they open up for John 5. They are also set to open up for him on Wednesday as they return to the Whisky a GoGo. For more details, make sure to visit their social media sites! We will try and bring you an update from them and coverage from their San Francisco show. I will leave you with our last interview from when they performed with Skid Row. Check out the stunning video for Waterfall by Smashing Satellites

February 9, 2015

Smashing Satellites is the new music project by Salvatore Costa, whom you may know as the bad ass guitarist from My Darkest Days. After leaving MDD Sal was ready to dive into his own music and follow his dreams. What blossomed from that departure is the welcoming fresh new sound of Smashing Satellites. They have  a ’80’s retro vibe but with a modern flair. Once you take a listen, you will get hooked. Sal’s vocals are compelling and inviting and places him exactly where he belongs, front and center! They have recently released their video for Waterfall which is visually stunning. The song is definitely one of my favorites as Salvatore explains about the song, “There are times in life where we all struggle with fear, depression and anxiety… we feel as though we are drowning. Sometimes it is not just about overcoming the fear and swimming to the surface but rather learning how to survive that time in the water.”    The video was filmed in a frigid cold shark tank and is absolutely breathtaking. Quick chat with Brev Sullivan of Snakebite

February 5, 2015

We had the pleasure of running into one of our favorite musicians, Brev Sullivan at NAMM 2015. We were so excited to see him and couldn’t wait to get an update from him as to what he is working on. Check out our quick chat with Brev here:   In addition, we got to listen to the new Snakebite album, Feel The Bite. It was great to listen to it on the ride home with several other musicians. The concensus was in, we all LOVED it and it completely rocks. First, there is something about having the actual CD in your and hold that tangible piece of music history. We actually played it several times on our 8 hour drive. It was great to hear it several times and you really get to find new favorites each time. It was old school rock n roll but in way dated. You had passionate vocals, sweet sexy guitars and songs that were soon to become part of my regular playlist. With songs like Rock n Roll Will [Read More]
