Interview with Eddie Veliz of Kyng as we discuss their new album, Breathe In The Water

Kyng returned to the Regency Ballroom this past Sunday night as they kicked off a night of high energy rock/metal in San Francisco. They are currently out on tour with Clutch and Zakk Sabbath and we were excited to catch them once again. This powerful trio delivers a powerful dose of energy when they hit the stage. You have Eddie Veliz on Vocals/Guitar, Pepe Clarke on Drums and Tony Castaneda on Bass/Backing Vocals. Montreal hosts an underwater gig as a famous pool is transfored into a sound and art experience for Red Bull Music Academy. Japanese rockers Coldrain have just released a music video for their track, Born To Bleed. On the song and music video (directed by Inni Vision), frontman Masato Hayakawa explains: “While we were touring and writing this song it seemed like all the places we had been to had just been through some sort of devastating act of hate. Terrorist attacks and shootings were happening everywhere. There was so much pain that was more real to us than before. Living in Japan we live in fear of natural disasters. The number of earthquakes that happen is insane and the amount of people they injure or kill is way too much. When I was writing I just kept writing down why?
