Jesus Jones releases on-point new single, How’s This Even Going Down

Many of you know that I am a huge Jesus Jones lover and that is why I am so excited to share with you their new single. Their new single, How’s This Even Going Down will be available soon for download as well as being released as 2×7″ limited edition vinyl in June 2016. The song is great as it captures the free spirit of Jesus Jones and reflects on the times of today. Strangers You Know announce Coachella date and release new single, Used

Los Angeles based indie/pop duo Strangers You Know are no stranger to the festival scene. It is their infectious feel good music that has them in high demand. The duo added two more stops to their 2016 festival circuit with back-to-back weekend performances at Coachella Music and Arts Festival, April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, CA, as well as BottleRock Napa Valley, happening May 27-29 in Napa Valley, CA. The band was also added to the Grammy Museum Homegrown showcase at SXSW, which will take place on March 18 at Tap Room at the Market. As previously announced, the LA group will also perform at the Hangout Music Festival, May 20-22, 2016 in Gulf Shores, AL, and the Firefly Music Festival, June 16-19, 2016 in Dover, DE. The Rocket Summer announces tour dates for The Zoetic Tour

The Rocket Summer are set to release their new album, Zoetic on February 26th via Aviate Records. Bryce Avary comments, “I basically fell in love with music all over again, like I had when I was first learning to play. My only mission was to be as creative as possible, and to push myself further than ever.” The album definitely brings out a fresh new sound that Avary explains, “There wasn’t any kind of deliberate attempt to make something that would be this different from my past records. I just knew that I wanted to tear down any barriers, including the subconscious ones, and make a record that had no rules. So I just followed the songs that were coming out of me and made sure there were no boundaries in the process of arranging and recording them. Indie rockers The Vanity release music video for Stay

Indie rockers The Vanity from Austin, Texas have just released a music video for their song, Stay. The single is one of four tracks on the band’s recent EP release, ARE YOU GOING ALONE?, now available on iTunes. Vocalist Alex Dugan comments, “We shot [the video] in Brooklyn in this really cool warehouse where they used to shoot porn in the early days. It’s not why we picked it, but it was an interesting fact to know when deciding which couch in the green room to sit on. Beyonce has also recorded a music video there, which was all the H-Town blessing we needed. She shot ‘Grown Woman’ here, which is exactly how I felt like shooting our band’s first big music video.” The song is really about counting on someone and needing that person to be there when they’re not. New video from indie/blues guitarist Jackie Venson

Check out the new video from indie/blues guitarist/vocalist, Jackie Venson. The track, Back To Eearth comes from Venson’s forthcoming live album, Jackie Venson Live, set for a fall 2016 release.   Jackie is  the daughter of Austin music staple, Andrew Venson, Jackie’s early drive for music led her to Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where she picked up a guitar for the first time. Throughout the series’ five amphitheater performances, she supported famed country and southern icons Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and James Taylor. With a 2015 European tour already under her belt, Venson is slated for early 2016 performances across the United States.
