Tuesdays Travels Pick of the week goes to BatAAr from Sweden

Here we are on our first Tuesday Travels Pick of the Week for 2014!!!! Let’s start it off with an awesome alternative style metal band, BatAAr from Gothenburg, Sweden. They truly have a unique sound that blends everything from metal to punk, electronic to deathcore. They call their style “Art Metal” and it definitely will grab you and have you wanting to hear more. BatAAr just finished up their first ever Japan tour and it was quite successful. They definitely gained tons of new fans and we can’t wait for them to announce new tour dates…. hoping for some US dates soon. Tonight Burn Halo released their song, “Wolves of War” which is off their new album and it is INSANE!! It definitely has a deep 18 Visions influence….. Heavy! Heavy! Heavy! Ben Mitchell has not only been a great friend to all of us here at Music Junkie Press but also is one of hell of a concert goer. We get to run in to him at almost every show we are covering! He also worked with us when we covered the Dir En Grey show in San Francisco and interviewed bassist, Toshiya for us.
