Fifth year of annual exhibition offered robust programming, high attendance rates.  NAMM Musikmesse Russia and Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia (September 14-17) concluded after four days of events, demonstrations, meetings, professional development opportunities, and exhibitions. Now in its fifth year, the annual exhibition took place at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Conference Center in the heart of Moscow and attracted 144 Russian and international manufacturers and distributors to present the latest in musical instruments, products and pro lighting and audio technologies to a crowd of over 16,000 unique visitors, an 11% increase from 2015. Ashba joins many musicians who proudly play Dean Markley strings.  The Dj Ashba Artist Series is a custom set of gauges that feature .010, .013, .017, .028, .038, and .048 from the longtime favorite, Dean Markley Signature Series of nickel plated strings. Dj Ashba is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer. He grew up in Fairbury, Illinois, where he worked in the cornfields to earn enough money to buy his first guitar.
