Switchblade Serenade upcoming shows and quick chat at NAMM 2014

One of our favorite rock bands,  Switchblade Serenade have announced several upcoming shows. We have featured Switchblade Serenade several times on Music Junkie Press and were also one of our Top 12 Bands You Have to Know.  If you are lucky enough to be in the East Coast area, I would suggest you drive, fly, walk or crawl your way to one of their shows. Love and a .38 delivers straight up rock at their Troubadour set for Lara Gladstone’s Gutter n Grind

  Last month, we headed down to the Troubadour to cover Lara Gladstone’s Gutter n Grind event at the Troubadour in Hollywood. We were excited to know that Love and a .38 would be there as they never disappoint in putting on an amazing set. Sure enough, they were there to deliver straight up rock and roll to the crowd and everyone was feeling alive. Love and a .38 will always will have you under their rock and roll spell. Farewell My Love announce “We Own The Night Tour” set for April

March 5, 2014

    Farewell My Love have just announced the dates for the “We Own The Night Tour” in April. They will be hitting the road to play with Consider Me Dead and The Venetia Fair.  The West Coast Tour is set to start on April 18th in Boise, ID at the Shredder.  We look forward to catching them at their San Francisco show at the DNA Lounge. Like Monroe signs a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music!

  We are excited to share with you some great news about one of our featured bands, Like Monroe have just announced they have inked a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music. Guitarist, Chris Deckards says, “We are excited and honored to join the eOne / Good Fight family. This is honestly a dream come true for all of us and we can’t wait to share our music with the world. We have been writing this album our whole career as musicians and we can’t wait to share our experience, strength and hope with all of you.” The yet to be titled  LP is set for a Summer release and will be produced by Drew Fulk who is known for his work with Motionless In White & Upon a Burning Body.  Like Monroe is also set to perform at the SXSW Festival on March 16th in Austin, TX and they have also confirmed that they will be opening for Asking Alexandria and Bring Me The Horizon on the Never Say Never Festival. During NAMM 2014 this year, amidst all the interviews and reviews, I was excited to stop and see Matt Sorum at his signing at the Gretsch Booth. I was even more excited to talk with him about his solo project, Matt Sorum‘s Fierce Joy. Matt will be releasing his new album, Stratosphere on March 11th but you don’t have to wait until then to get a listen.
