Indie Rockers, Kiven have been receiving a lot of great attention on their self titled album which is filled with 13 well crafted, solid rock songs. The first single off the album, In The Fire spent nine weeks on the KROQ charts, evening topping at the number 1 spot. Today they have released a music video for their second single, I Can Take It which is one of my favorites off the album, vocally engaging and takes you on a merry go round of emotions. Islander is our Monster Energy Aftershock Festival Featured Band of the Day

Our Aftershock Festival Featured Band of the Day is Islander. These hardworking guys are currently touring on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. We just saw them a couple weeks ago when they came to the Shoreline Amphitheater for their Northern California stop. They are awesome live. Their sound reminds of a marriage of Rage Against the Machine and Blink-182. When they perform, they are fueled with energy that becomes infectious and runs rampant through the crowd. This hard working band are setting out on another tour right after Mayhem. They will be touring with Otherwise and Like A Storm and then will make a stop for us at the Aftershock Festival. Ok, no need to worry my husband, my new love is a band from Budapest, Ozone Mama and allow me to introduce you to my new flame.
