Watch Kiven perform live Falling Away at EastWest Studios

July 24, 2014

Indie Rockers, Kiven have been receiving a lot of great attention on their self titled album which is filled with 13 well crafted, solid rock songs. The first single off the album, In The Fire spent nine weeks on the KROQ charts, evening topping at the number 1 spot. Today they have released a music video for their second single, I Can Take It which is one of my favorites off the album, vocally engaging and takes you on a merry go round of emotions. Another favorite is Falling Away and you can watch a video of Kiven’s live performance at EastWest Studios. Check it out here:   The album was recorded at EastWest Studios and Pie Town at MixLA and is available on iTunes, here: Kiven, comprised of Tyler Demorest, Matt Cohen, Danny Schnair and Jake Reed. When asked about the album, vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Tyler Demorest exclaims, “We spent a lot of time writing songs that were our sound and, at the same time, grew what KIVEN is. It is finally here! The release of the music video by The Hollywood Kills for their bad ass track, I Don’t Walk Straight. The straight up rockin track is off of their MUST HAVE EP, Coming of Age which was released earlier this year. You can read our review of their EP here.  As I mentioned before, “The Hollywood Kills new EP, “Coming of Age” should be marketed as the instant mood elevator! Who needs antidepressants when you have an EP filled with 5 songs that will get you out of any funk you could ever be in.  I love music that makes you feel so alive and takes you to even a new found level of euphoric bliss.”  Check out the video here:   The Hollywood Kills may be from Nashville, TN but they mean business with their rock n roll sound sprinkled with punk, pop and even Motown.
