June 30, 2014

Iconic guitarist, songrwriter Brian Setzer has premiered a new song, Let’s Shake which will be available on his forthcoming album, Rockabilly Riot” All Original. The album is set for an August 12th release through Surfdog Records. Brian says about the song, “Yeah, ‘Let’s Shake,’ how come no one has thought of that title yet?  We’ve been making rock ‘n roll now for 60 years and no one has come up with ‘Let’s Shake?’  And I came up with it and I went ‘wow…Let’s Shake!’ You know, oh god, it’s just so simple it’s magic!  It’s got a really great guitar solo in it, just rock ‘n roll sounding…it’s not really ‘billy’ sounding, it’s more rock and roll… again, it’s the simplest songs that are the hardest to write.” Check out the song here:     The high energetic song fueled with rockabilly attitude is quite infectious. I have always loved Brian’s style of music and he has once again proved that he belongs high on the charts for his unique style and charismatic music. Here is [Read More]

You can check out our coverage of the Dead Rabbitts here and Nightmares here and we will bringing you The Relapse Symphony too. For now, let me tell you about the great set by Myka Relocate. Myka Relocate is a six piece metalcore rock band from Houston. Together they delivered a stellar set that had you enjoying the screams of metalcoree amid the clean vocals. They are the perfect blend and almost remind me of an offspring of Sleeping With Sirens, The Word Alive and Consider Me Dead. In  no way does the band imitate since they have successfully created their own sound and has everyone taking notice. While it is heavy, they still deliver electronic elements and catchy melodies. Myka Relocate is: John Ritter: Vocals Michael Swank: Vocals Luke Burleigh: Bass Austin Dore’; Guitar Josh Peltier: Guitar Aaron Robertson: Drums They are brimming with energy and took control of the crowd instantly. There might not have been a packed house, [Read More]
