Falling Through April deliver a straight up bad ass set at Regency Ballroom
This past week we were at The Regency Ballroom for the Adelita’s Way and The Pretty Reckless show at The Regency Ballroom. I was unfamiliar with the opening band, Falling Through April but that has since changed! After catching their high energy and rockin set, I am definitely hooked. They have an alternative rock style that just captured the crowd from start to finish. Their music has hints of a pop punk style yet with a much more refined rock edge, almost like a blend of early Escape the Fate and AFI. It is refreshing to see a band forge ahead with their own unique sound and not follow the cookie cutter bands that seemed to perfectly fit into a genre or subgenre checkbox. These guys also have great stage presence as they won over the crowd at The Regency. Falling Through April are from Charlotte, NC and have been around since 2011.
