Limp Bizkit is our Aftershock Featured Band of the Day

August 25, 2014

Today our featured Aftershock Festival band of the day is Limp Bizkit. I have been really excited to finally get to see them perform at this year’s Aftershock Festival. I have not only enjoyed their music for nearly the past 20 years. There is something about the music of Limp Bizkit that when you might be at a loss for words in certain situations or need to express yourself in the most creative way; their music seems to sum it all up in an intense energy filled style. They formed back in 1994 and have had quite a successful career, even after taking a break or several year long hiatus, their albums were still charting and selling. Their stop at the Aftershock Festival will kick off their tour that takes them through fall with Machine Gun Kelly. Get ready for some new Limp Bizkit too. They have just released the video for their new song, Endless Slaughter that features some amazing live footage from Europe. Check it out here:   Band Members:  John Otto Wes [Read More]

August 25, 2014

The Ohio quartet Phillip Fox Band have been quickly gaining attention for their unique style of music, country fried rock n roll. They seamlessly blend classic rock and old country and fuse it with a modern twist. What you are treated to,  are songs that not only rock but are emotionally driven and create a solid connection with the listener through story telling songs all the while you are feeding your rock n roll soul. They currently have their debut full length album Heartland set for a September 2nd release. Heartland takes you on a musical journey full of hope, loss, love and truth. In a time where the musical industry can stifle a band’s creativity, Phillip Fox Band rose about it all by creating and completing their album fully funded by their fans through a Kickstarter campaign. Phillip Fox explains, “I think the whole Kickstarter thing, particularly with our fans voting essentially with their money and saying, ‘No we want this music’… The fact that we are able to put that out, we feel very blessed [Read More]
