Mushroomhead is definitely a highlight of Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest

July 9, 2014

This past weekend, we made it out to the Rockstar Mayhem Fest  as it made it’s stop at the Shoreline Amphitheater on July 6th. We are looking forward to telling you about all the great sets but we wanted to tell you about one of the highlights of the Festival. We were excited to see that this band lives up to and exceeds anyone’s expectations with their energy filled dynamic set. The highlighted band we are talking about is none other than the great Mushroomhead. They came out onto the Coldcock American Herbal Whiskey stage to a packed crowd that extended all the way to the booths. The energy of the crowd was intense and once Mushroomhead began to play, the energy was raised ten fold! It was unreal and amazing. These guys deliver a non-stop adrenaline filled set that is 100% entertaining on all levels. They sounded on point the whole show and their stage presences are captivating and well deserving of a main stage. These guys should be placed on the main stage because that [Read More]

Directed by long time collaborator, Justin Reich of The Antimatter Studio, the video depicts a stripped down version of the wall of sound that is widely associated with the band. The band performed the single recently on Late Night with Seth Myers. which is the first time they performed on national television. Check out the stellar video here: The band will embark on a stretch of headlining tour dates across the U.S. starting on July 17th in Cincinnati before eventually wrapping up at the Sunshine Theater in Albuquerque on August 4th. Wovenwar and Kyng have been tapped to support, click here for all tour dates. Black Label Society has also been announced on the first annual KNOTFEST with Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat. Our Warped Tour discovery highlight goes to One OK Rock

July 8, 2014

Vans Warped Tour truly brings so many great bands to everyone, some you may know, some you may have heard of but never seen and some you may have never heard of before. The great thing about Warped Tour is the exposure that these bands receive and how they make so many new fans after their performances. Our Warped Tour discovery highlight choice goes to a band that I have never heard of or seen before and when I did, they completely blew me away!  They are One Ok Rock from Japan. I wish I had learned of them sooner because I would have been cranking them out loud for the past several years! One OK Rock have an aggressively live performance that completely captivates you. Their songs blend rock and metal with some fierce Japanese flair. Their stage presence is one of the best and will take you by surprise if you happen to be walking by the Beatport Stage. That is how we found them and thankfully, we walked by on the first [Read More]

Get Scared bring the high energy rock to this year’s Warped Tour

July 8, 2014

Vans Warped Tour this year is filled with so many great bands. There is one that I want to make sure you know about and that is Get Scared. These high energy rockers are bringing the adrenaline to the stage and capturing everyone’s attention. I remember the first time we saw them was a couple years back when they opened for Escape The Fate. We knew then, that they had what it takes to be in the spotlight and to see them shine at Warped Tour is no surprise. Their determination and hard work are paying off and their straight up rock n roll style has them gaining fans all along the tour. They are truly one of this year’s highlights. Get Scared is: Nicholas Matthews – Lead Vocals Johnny “Johnny B” Braddock – Lead Guitar Adam Virostko – Guitar Bradley “Lloyd” Iverson – Bass Guitar Dan Juarez – Drums One of the highlights of their set is when they perform their big hit, Badly Broken and their cover of My Own Worst Enemy by Lit.
