Check out more tour dates for Tantric in support of new album “37 Channels”

April 20, 2014

Tantric, one of my all time favorite bands have just announced more tour dates in support of their  5th studio album titled “37 Channels“.  This album will definitely have you exploring their diverse range of music that satisfies all your needs. You may wonder about the title but as frontman Hugo Ferreira explains, “What goes on in my brain constantly; 37 things or channels if you will, all at once vying for my attention“. Well Hugo they may all be vying for your attention but what you do with those 37 channels is pure magic! In addition to the many featured guests such as Shooter Jennings and members of Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Saving Abel and Uncle Kracker there is as special guest vocalist on “My Turn” that you would not believe or at least I can’t!  Well it is none other than the hot Leif Garrett who spent years on my wall of my room during my teen years! As Hugo is quoted on Leif’s website:  “It’s an absolute honor to have such a iconic artist such as [Read More]

Photos and Video from Crown The Empire’s set in Chico for the Break Down The Walls Tour

April 18, 2014

Last week, we covered the Asking Alexandria show at The Senator Theater in Chico, CA. This was the only California stop on the Break Down The Walls Tour and there was no way we were going to miss it. What was awesome is that the tour included a great group of bands. One of the opening bands was Crown The Empire and they delivered a heavy rock set worthy of our attention. The band came out and immediately captured the attention of the crowd. They are full of energy as they bounced across the stage unleashing their music and enthralled the listeners. What is awesome about Crown The Empire is that their sound is a mix of hard/heavy rock to post-hardcore, interweaving melodies to scream vocals, but never overdoing it either way. They have finely balanced their musical fusions in order to create a unique and quite infectious sound. They were definitely one of my favorites of the new night. You can check out the photos of Crown The Empire by our Rockin Ryan here: Their debut album [Read More]

All Time Low gives the crowd their all time high with their amazing set at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento

April 17, 2014

We have been anxiously waiting for the A Love Like Tour to come to town and earlier this week, we were able to catch the sold out show in Sacramento, CA. Openers Handguns and Man Overboard warmed up the crowd and proved that the night would be a pop punk invasion.  Headliners All Time Low came out and performed to a completely packed house. For a Tuesday night, I couldn’t believe how crowded it was, but with the dedicated fan base of All Time Low it should come as no surprise.  All Time Low has consistently packed venues and always deliver a solid show that leaves people talking about it for a long time after. The band came out to a crowd filled with balloons floating around and the fans wildly chanting their name. They started with their get up and go song, “Do You Want Me”. From the first song to the last, there was nonstop energy and these four young guys fueled with adrenaline in their veins delivered a performance that was spectacular.  Singer [Read More]

Interview with Handguns and catch them out on the “A Love Like Tour”

April 17, 2014

The “A Love Like Tour” with All Time Low, Man Overboard and Handguns came through Sacramento this week. It was a Tuesday night and it was completely sold out, as with many other stops, it has been sold out for months.  It was a Pop Punk Invasion like no other.  We got there just in time to catch Handguns hit the stage. They were incredible as they led the crowd into high energy sing alongs to fast paced power punk tunes. One thing is for sure, this band is not short on energy as they delivered a 150% at all times. The crowd went wild as they played their new song, Heart vs. Head which is off of their forthcoming album, Life Lessons. Life Lessons is due out on July 8th via Pure Noise Records. You can pick up the new track on Itunes here. We had a chance to chat with Kyle and Taylor after their set and are pleased to bring that to you here: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=http://youtu.be/tjlnB_OEs-E&feature=youtu.be]   We are all excited about the [Read More]
