Kids in Glass Houses announce Farewell Tour set for October

February 26, 2014

Kids in Glass Houses from South Wales have just announced their Farewell Tour. We are sad to see the end of Kids in Glass Houses (KIGH) since they have such a vibrant full of life sound that will be missed. They made the announcement on their Facebook page with the following: It’s a surreal and daunting moment when you realise that you’re contemplating bringing to an end something that has given your life unquantifiable joy, satisfaction and meaning. Something that is so personal that it embodies who you are or who you have been perceived as for so long. You start to wonder what you’ll be without it. It’s a near impossible void to comprehend filling, but we feel that now is the right time for us to do move on and do just that. This is the end of Kids In Glass Houses. Amicably and on our own terms. The way we always promised ourselves it would be. We’re as unified in this decision as we have been with any that we’ve made together, and [Read More]

New Years Day deliver a powerful intense set at their shows, a must see!

February 24, 2014

We had the opportunity to catch New Years Day last week at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA. It was a night filled with a variety of bands from TrackFighter, Eve to Adam, Escape the Fate and New Years Day. It was great first off to see that whomever you were there to see that night, everyone enjoyed everyone’s set!  Here are Rockin Ryan’s photos of the night:   I had been talking to a couple people who had never seen New Years Day before and they said that after, they were definitely life long fans. That is what happens when you see them live, you can’t help but harness their energy and enjoy the show and join the New Years Day family! Jake Jones on the guitar is like a modern day Doyle as he stomps around feeding the masses with his energy. Nikki Misery reminds me of the charismatic Marilyn Manson and is a madman on his guitar. Falling in Reverse delivers another great show in San Francisco

February 24, 2014

They did it again! Falling In Reverse  put on another great show on their stop in San Francisco for the Bury the Hatchet tour. Even though we were the second to the last stop of the tour, we were treated to them performing at 150% and their non stop energy set.  I have been to many opening sets for tours as well as closing and it does seem that some bands really trail off when they are down to the last couple days. Almost as if they can taste the freedom and joys of sleeping in their own beds, long showers and days that have yet to be planned.  Well for the boys in Falling in Reverse, they really do show that performing is when they feel most at home because they really come on just as strong as their first show in Los Angeles.  They treated the crowd to an adrenaline filled set where the nearly sold out audience sang along to every word.  It was a great set and Jacky Vincent and Ron [Read More]

We saw them as they opened up for Chelsea Grin, Escape the Fate and Falling in Reverse during the Bury the Hatchet Tour on their stop in San Francisco. 14 Bands that will rule 2014

Interview with members of We Are Harlot at NAMM 2014 talking about new album, tour and Justin Bieber!

February 21, 2014

Our NAMM 2014 coverage still continues. One of the highlights of our NAMM 2014 coverage was to interview 3/4 members of We are Harlot. We Are Harlot took home our Number 1 Spot on our countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014 and believe me they will definitely be proving us right this year. We Are Harlot is a band that has been 2 years in the making and the time is now for them. We Are Harlot  is Danny Wornsop (Asking Alexandria) on Vocals, Brian Weaver (SilverTide) on Bass, Bruno Agra on Drums and our very own Day 1 of 12 Days of Guitarists; Jeff George (Sebastian Bach) on Guitar. We first heard the news of We Are Harlot last year and also had the opportunity to chat with Jeff George as  he told us how We Are Harlot began. You can read that interview here. During NAMM we were able to grab Danny, Jeff and Brian for a quick interview. We are pleased to bring it to you here: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS0f4TQBq2o&feature=youtu.be]   Here is an excerpt [Read More]
