The Black Angels release new video for History of the Future

The Black Angels share new video for ‘History of the Future’ from latest LP Wilderness of Mirrors (out now via Partisan). The new video was directed by Clever Cardoso and filmed in Terlingua, TX, the video takes inspiration from Pink Floyd’s famous ‘Live at Pompeii’ concert.Speaking more on the video, the band says: “The video is very much inspired by Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii, the idea was to juxtapose the past and the present, history and the future, by playing electric music in the untouched desert landscape that retains the exact same topography from millions of years ago. Bring Me the Horizon announce new album POST HUMAN: NeX GEn out in September

Bring Me the Horizon announce details on their new album. The album titled POST HUMAN: NeX GEn will be released on September 15th via Columbia Records. The 21-year-old Colombian/Cuban/American vocalist grew up in Hermosa Beach, a small Southern California coastal town, with its own rich musical history steeped in both Jazz and Punk Rock. She has spent her entire life on stages, including stints at the prestigious A Cappella Academy, and the nationally recognized Legacy A Cappella group. The National released its ninth studio album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, on 4AD. Buy/Stream the album HERE. They played at BottleRock Napa 2023 and it was quite a set. They just began a 2023 world tour with a four-night stand in Chicago on May 18. The itinerary, with numerous shows already sold out, also includes the band’s first show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on August 18 with very special guest Patti Smith and her band. Other shows feature opening sets from Soccer Mommy, The Beths and Bartees Strange.
