Black Label Society delivers a spine tingling set at Regency Ballroom for Golden Gods Tour

What a night! This past Friday, the place to be was at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. There was a line around the block as everyone came out in full force to catch Black Label Society perform. Also make sure to check out our coverage of the amazing two opening bands, Devil You Know and Butcher Babies. I think it was a sold out show or nearly sold out since earlier that day they had only a 100 or so tickets left. It was packed from front to back, left to right and the entire upstairs was filled with no empty seats. Swedish metal band WOLF release lyric video for the first single off forthcoming album

Swedish metal band, Wolf have returned and they are set to release their seventh studio album DEVIL SEED later this year. This time around, the wolves have teamed up with Jens Bogren (Kreator, Paradise Lost, Opeth) over at Fascination Street Studios and have delivered not only a heavy sounding release but also one chock full of clarity and complexity. The have released a lyric video for the first single, My Demon which is off the forthcoming album. Our Tuesdays Travels featured band is Girlie Hell from Brazil

We have a very special band for you on our Tuesdays Travels feature. How about an all female hard rock band from Brazil that kicks ass? Check out Girlie Hell as they make a name for themselves across the globe. Girlie Hell started in 2007 and gained a lot of attention for their first album, Get Hard. They have since been melting faces and rocking the world with their music. Girlie Hell is: Bullas Attekita – Vocals & Guitar Kaju Stoppa – Vocals & Guitar Carol Pasquali – Drums Fernanda Simmonds – Bass They had a very successful tour last year with another one of our favorite female bands, Crucified Barbara. 12/13 year old Metal band, Unlocking The Truth set to perform at Heavy Metal Montreal Festival

It has been quite a year so far for the young metal band, Unlocking the Truth. The band with young members of 12/13 years old have been taking the metal scene by surprise and everyone has been talking about them. They were the youngest band to ever perform at this year’s Coachella Festival. Not only that, but many considered them to be the highlight of the festival. The young band Unlocking The Truth are from Brooklyn, New York. At the young ages of twelve and thirteen these three kids are skilled musicians and have everyone taking notice of their exceptional talent. Unlocking The Truth are currently scheduled to open once again for Guns n Roses this weekend at their Las Vegas Hard Rock Residency. They are then scheduled for several more dates and festivals to include Heavy Montreal Festival on August 9th which will include headliners Slayer and Metallica.
