Check out Countless Goodbyes from Finland for some Metalcore

Straight from Finland and ready to take over your playlist is Countless Goodbyes. They are a bad ass Metal / Metalcore band that really has caught my attention. Counting Goodbyes is Jiri Rantanen on Vocals Jancarlo Rodriguez on Guitar Ilari Ukkola on Guitar André Rodriguez on Drums Lauri Lilja on Bass They currently have their seven song album out, Broken and Shattered which you can purchase from ITunes here. They have a high energy and strong sound which reminds me of early Suicide Silence. If you are into Metalcore, I may have just found you your next favorite band. Just last week we brought you our coverage of the Asking Alexandria show at The Senator Theater in Chico for their stop on the Break Down the Walls Tour. They were awesome and full of non stop energy. Photos and Video from Crown The Empire’s set in Chico for the Break Down The Walls Tour

Last week, we covered the Asking Alexandria show at The Senator Theater in Chico, CA. This was the only California stop on the Break Down The Walls Tour and there was no way we were going to miss it. What was awesome is that the tour included a great group of bands. One of the opening bands was Crown The Empire and they delivered a heavy rock set worthy of our attention. The band came out and immediately captured the attention of the crowd. They are full of energy as they bounced across the stage unleashing their music and enthralled the listeners. What is awesome about Crown The Empire is that their sound is a mix of hard/heavy rock to post-hardcore, interweaving melodies to scream vocals, but never overdoing it either way. They have finely balanced their musical fusions in order to create a unique and quite infectious sound. They were definitely one of my favorites of the new night. Fierce rock band, Forever Still from Denmark releases video for The Last Day

Hailing from Copenhagen, Demark is Forever Still and these fierce rockers are ready to take over the music scene with their female fronted rock band. In a time when the music scene is suffering such an identity crisis and people are busy placing labels and genres on a band’s music, along comes along Forever Still and is breaking the mold of Rock and Roll. Their intense sound can take you from catchy melodies, passionate vocals to smoldering guitars and energetic drumming. The stunning vocals of Maja brings such intensity to their songs, she has quite a vocal range and is spectacular at creating the connection to the listener. Forever Still is Maja Schønning, Mikkel Haastrup, Chad T. Charlton and Carsten Christensen and they have been causing quite a buzz out in Denmark and now it is time for the rest of the world to fall in love with them.  They have recently released their 4 song EP Breaking Free. Canadian country rocker Marshall Dane releases video for Alcohol Abuse

  Just yesterday we told you about Canadian country rocker Marshall Dane hitting the No. 1 spot onthe Roots Music Report for Pop Country Album, you can read more here.   Today we wanted to tell you about the music video which Marshall just released for Alcohol Abuse.  The video was premiered last night at a World Premiere party held in Ontario, Canada at the same spot it was filmed at. Filmed at Dirty Dog Saloon, the “Alcohol Abuse” video was produced by The Field, based in Toronto. Since opening its doors in 2007, The Field has garnered much acclaim for its work, racking up over 75 Much Music Video Awards nominations, along with numerous Juno and Canadian Country Music Association nods. All Time Low gives the crowd their all time high with their amazing set at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento

We have been anxiously waiting for the A Love Like Tour to come to town and earlier this week, we were able to catch the sold out show in Sacramento, CA. Openers Handguns and Man Overboard warmed up the crowd and proved that the night would be a pop punk invasion.  Headliners All Time Low came out and performed to a completely packed house. For a Tuesday night, I couldn’t believe how crowded it was, but with the dedicated fan base of All Time Low it should come as no surprise.  All Time Low has consistently packed venues and always deliver a solid show that leaves people talking about it for a long time after. The band came out to a crowd filled with balloons floating around and the fans wildly chanting their name. They started with their get up and go song, “Do You Want Me”. Guitar Legend NEAL SCHÖN releases new video for “What You Want” from new album with Marco Mendoza and Deen Castronovo

Guitar Legend Neal Schön best known as co-founding member and lead guitarist of Journey has teamed up with bassist Marco Mendoza (Black Star Riders, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Hardline). Together they are set to release their forthcoming album “SO U” on May 19th through Frontier Records.
