I Divide set to release new album “Last One Standing” on April 14th

I Divide from Exeter, England are set to release their full length debut album “Last One Standing” on April 14th throught DSTRY EVRYTHNG. It is going to be a great album full of fresh new rock and roll. I Divide exploded onto the music scene in 2011 and soon after were garnering a lot of attention and awards for their music. They not only won the Best Rock Act in 2012 at the South West Music Awards but have played several festivals including Download. Blackwülf from Oakland deliver a heavy dose of rock at the DNA Lounge

Opening up for Swedish rockers, Truckfighters was a great heavy rock band from Oakland. Blackwülf put on an incredible set at the DNA Lounge last month. I was glad to have caught them live since I had heard about them but never had the opportunity to see them live. Blackwülf have a great heavy deep rock sound reminiscent of Tool or Alice In Chains but with more edge/blues in their guitars that I love and a grunge feel to the vocals! They really put on an excellent show and I am looking forward to more Bay Area shows. The Raised by Wolves release new music video for Freddy Freaker

The D.C. based duo of The Raised by Wolves have released their new music video for Freddy Freaker which is off their latest album, Sadie Hawkins. The video was written, directed, and edited by The Raised By Wolves in collaboration with D.C.-based filmmaker and longtime friend,James Robertson. Love Crushed Velvet release new video for their song “Bye, Bye, Baby”

Love Crushed Velvet from New York City have released their new video for their song, “Bye, Bye, Baby”. The track was originally released on Love Crushed Velvet’s compelling new EP Delusions in September, mixed by Mark Needham (Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers). Lead singer/songwriterA.L.X. explains more about the song, “After having spent time getting close to someone and developing a deep bond with them, it can feel very confusing when things start to fall apart. It makes you question whether you every really knew the person at all, or whether they just showed you one side of themselves. Don’t miss Nothing More out on tour NOW!

We were excited to catch Nothing More as they played at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento last week. They were finishing up the tour with Eve To Adam, Kyng and Lacuna Coil. They once again put on an incredible high energy show! Just last year, they stole the show at Aftershock Festival and were the only band to play two sets during the festival. The first day they played the Ernie Ball stage and the second day they were moved to the Main Monster Stage. It was awesome, you can check out our post on it here. They came in to the Ace of Spades and dominated the crowd as they brought their incredible four piece percussion performance as well as a three man bass guitar solo!!! Deaf Havana release new video for 22 and set to tour with You Me At Six

One of my favorite rock band from the UK, Deaf Havana have released their video for their song, 22. I love this song!! It is such a fun song with catchy melodies and energetic vibe. It is one of my favorite songs of their album Old Souls. The album is filled with great songs ranging from fist in the air stadium anthems to ballads and everything in between. One thing they are not lacking is amazing songwriting skills. They are awesome! Blue October reawakens your soul with their spectacular performance on the SWAY Tour

Last night was pretty much the highlight for me of 2014! We went out to see Blue October at the Ace of Spades, as they have begun another leg of the SWAY tour. I caught them last year as they put on a spectacular performance in San Francisco. Every time I leave a Blue October concert, I catch myself saying the exact same thing… I never thought they could exceed how excellent they were at their last performance and every time, they prove me wrong. They hit it out of the ballpark each and every time. Last night was another one of those unbelievable sets. We arrived to a packed house on a Monday night at the Ace of Spades.
