Interview with Butcher Babies at Aftershock Festival

We have been thoroughly enjoying BUTCHER BABIES debut album “Goliath” and I love their just released video for “Magnolia Blvd.” Last weekend we had the opportunity to catch BUTCHER BABIES take over the Aftershock Festival as they played to full crowd on Saturday. They put on an incredible set and had people talking about them the entire weekend as one of the crowd’s favorites. Today Tony Harnell & the Wildflowers featuring “Bumblefoot” released their video for ‘Burning Daylight” which is off of their new self titled EP. The video is absolutely captivating and is described as a modern day Romeo & Juliet story of eternal love. Written and Directed by Charles Whitcher and Produced by Humble TV. Nothing More steals the show at Aftershock Festival 2013

Last week we told you about our Aftershock Spotlight on an incredible band, Nothing More. You can read that original post here. Well Nothing More from San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, LA definitely stole the show at the Aftershock Festival. On Saturday they played the Ernie Ball stage and had everyone taking notice of this high energy alternative rock/metal band. We were so glad to catch their set and even more excited when we learned that on Sunday they would be playing the main stage since a couple bands could not make it to the show. Detroit Rock band, Pistol Day Parade release their new album “Burn” today and I have been spreading the word about this great album! Hailing from Detroit are these hard working rockers who bleed out the passion through their music. Their new album “Burn” released via Goomba Records was produced by Tim Patalan (Sponge, Lovedrug) at The Loft Studios in Saline, Michigan. Aftershock Festival Spotlight on Nothing More

Our Aftershock Spotlight is on an incredible band, Nothing More. Nothing More is from San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, LA. This bad ass band definitely has everyone taking a good look at them. They are bringing a new life to alternative rock/progressive that actually has them challenging genres and sounds. Their unique sound has many turning heads and people wanting to know more about Nothing More. We had the opportunity to talk with Jonny Hawkins – lead vocalist and Daniel Oliver – bassist for the band. I will tell you that they both also perform secondary percussions for the band at times during their shows. Alter Bridge release video for new single “Addicted to Pain”

I have been waiting for the new Alter Bridge album!! The new album titled “‘Fortress” is set to be released on September 30th in the UK, October 1st in Italy and October 8th in the United States. Butcher Babies release video for “Magnolia Blvd.”

BUTCHER BABIES release their video for “Magnolia Blvd.” and it is definitely one to watch! This is their first music video from their debut album, “Goliath” and was directed by Daniel Gomez (EYES SET TO KILL, BUCKCHERRY). I love the concept behind the video and I appreciate the fact that it didn’t have an overly gorey scene which seems to be so prevalent in today’s musici scene.
