For today’s Tuesdays Travels, I didn’t travel far to bring you some over the top Hard Rock/Glam Rock. From Montreal, Canada, I want to introduce you to RUSTED! If you thought that only 80’s bands brought you heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums, power vocals and catchy choruses, the complete rock look, you are mistaken. RUSTED has everything you want in bad ass rock and roll band and their music will have you quickly hooked. WAYLAND releases new single, “Reno”

Last this year, I told you about an awesome band, Wayland that will have you rockin out within seconds of hearing them! We saw them perform during NAMM 2013 at the Dean NAMM Jam and they rocked the show. They are now back with their new single release, “RENO”. Hold on tight, this one is gonna take you for a nice ride….. So make sure to head over to Itunes and download this bad ass song. It has such an alluring edge to it that just has you enjoying precision drumming, smoking guitar work, slamming bass and intense power vocals. BrainStorm (Prata Vetra) from Latvia is our Tuesdays Travel band to check out!

BrainStorm I am sure you thought it was getting late and I was not going to give you my Tusdays Travel band to check out…. Well I might be late due to recuperating from the car accident over the weekend but I didn’t want you to miss this band!! Straight from Jelgava, Latvia is a fun alternative rock band, BrainStorm (Latvian: Prāta Vētra) that you have to take a listen to. Definitely not a new band. This band is a strong group of friends who had a dream to play music and in 1989 set out to conquer the hearts of music lovers. Their music which has sounds reminiscent of Parlotones, ColdPlay, even U2, but yet they have something so new and fresh to them that I just can’t put my finger on. They have catchy melody fused with passionate vocals and an energetic sound that becomes infectious. Brian Dugan announces his departure from Candlelight Red

Earlier today, Brian Dugan, drummer for Candlelight Red announced his departure from Candlelight Red. He posted the following on Facebook today. “Well another tour down and in the books. Unfortunately it will be my last playing the drums for Candlelight Red. Due to a busy tour schedule, which is good for the band, and family obligations at home,I felt it to be the time to step aside. In this business it is difficult at best to find a balance between both. This band is off to great things and I would never want to hinder its progress. To all the friends and fans I have met….thank you! This has been one of the best experiences of my life and one for which I am truly blessed. It saddens me to leave but at this stage is an unfortunate necessity. I will always be a fan of this band which has taught me so much about music and myself. Time for you to get to know Marshal Dutton

Last week I had told you about the news from Hinder and how lead singer, Austin Winkler was temporarily leaving the tour. You can read more of that post here. Coming from Los Angeles, this Alternative/Aggressive Rock band is tearing up the stages and you can’t help but take notice of them.
