Oak Street Blues span across the genres for some alternative country rock

Yes, that is right I called it alternative, country, rock and I might add even hints of electronic, blues and pop. That is exactly what you get from Southern California band, Oak Street Blues.The band was founded by Chris Hall, and with his 15 year history with several bands from a variety of genres, he brought together his influences to create their own unique sound that reminds me of a cross between Tom Petty and Wilco. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Arist is Roem Baur. For today, we are pleased to treat you to an amazing singer/songwriter who has a voice that will have you in awe! Roem is an operatic trained singer who brings to life his songs, whether they are alternative, folk, blues, indie rock or soul. He magically wraps his own unique voice around his songs and has the notes and lyrics dancing in the air. NAMM HIGHLIGHT: Xander and The Peace Pirates perform at the Gibson Booth.

Earlier this month, we told you about an incredible band, Xander and the Peace Pirates and how they were the TOP HIGHLIGHT OF THE CES 2014 Convention. Well, they did it again at NAMM. During a week where you literally have hundreds and hundreds of artists performing at various booths, it can be quite challenging to figure out who you are going to see and spend your day. It wasn’t hard for us, since I knew I wanted to see the Xander Brothers live. There was no question about that. We headed over to the intimate stage setting in the Gibson Booth and got there just in time as Xander and the Peace Pirates began. It was awesome! Today is the last day of the CES 2014 Convention being held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The CES highlights and covers every aspect of the consumer technology industry. Not only do you get to check out all the latest and greatest in consumer electronics but you may be treated to some fantastic musicians. This year Gibson Guitars unveiled the Double Diamond Line which is built with real diamonds. Dj Ashba made an appearance to talk about his new signature Les Paul which comes out in March. One of the top highlights of CES this year goes to an incredible band from Liverpool, Xander and The Peace Pirates! Tom Keifer releases video for The Flower Song

Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, I listened to a LOT of ROCK n ROLL. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s was the Philadelphia based blues rock band CINDERELLA. I went to many of their concerts to just to hear the raspy, distinctive gritty voice of Tom Keifer. His vocals were incredible and always drew me to their music. Earlier this year, Tom released his solo record, The Way Life Goes on Merovee Records (through WMG ILG) and went out on tour in support of the album. Tom has two singles out from this spectacular album, Solid Ground and The Flower Song. Today Tom released the video for The Flower Song which is one of my favorites off his album.
