Our Aftershock Spotlight is on an incredible band, Nothing More. Nothing More is from San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, LA. This bad ass band definitely has everyone taking a good look at them. They are bringing a new life to alternative rock/progressive that actually has them challenging genres and sounds. Their unique sound has many turning heads and people wanting to know more about Nothing More. We had the opportunity to talk with Jonny Hawkins – lead vocalist and Daniel Oliver – bassist for the band. I will tell you that they both also perform secondary percussions for the band at times during their shows. Last week I had told you about the news from Hinder and how lead singer, Austin Winkler was temporarily leaving the tour. You can read more of that post here. Randy Blythe and his personal plea to you!

Randy Blythe of Lamb of God has recently put out a plea to all. Randy is set to embark back on tour on May 16th with his first stop at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. This will be one of the first shows since being found not guilty of manslaughter charges by Czech judges that stems from a 2010 concert in which a 19 year old fan died, Daniel Nosek. Today Randy took his tumblr account with a plea to all: Be Carefully. When I was a little boy, just learning to talk and still figuring out the intricacies of the English language, I would caution others to “be carefully”. Candlelight Red came through San Francisco on March 30, 2013 as they played with Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, and Coal Chamber. We had the opportunity to interview Ryan Hoke and Jeremy Edge, right before their show at the Regency Ballroom. I was supposed to head out there but got tied up with a family emergency. Rocklahoma 2013 Band Feature I have a great new Nasty Habit for you and it will ROCK your World! I am talking about four young guys from New York who are on a mission to bring back Rock and Roll. With their Rock and Roll passion prevalent throughout their rockin songs like “Heart Breakin, Hip Shakin”, “Saturday Night”, and ‘Tripped” it is no wonder they are a part of Rocklahoma 2013! Nasty Habit has Tommy Ende on lead vocals, Kenny Ende on guitar, David Jordan on drums, and Frankie Wheeler on bass.
