SIXX: A.M. deliver an unforgettable and sensational opening night for the Modern Vintage Tour in San Francisco!

Sixx: A.M. kicked off their Modern Vintage Tour last night in San Francisco at The Regency Ballroom. It was an exceptional opening night that left everyone in a blissful fog. The night began with an energetic set by the Japanese rockers, VAMPS. They tore up the stage with their energy and instantly won over the crowd. A highlight was when they played a cover of Motley Crue’s Live Wire. I am truly looking forward to checking them out more and hopefully see them return to play the Bay Area soon. Next up was the dynamic and awe-inspiring performance by Apocalyptica. These guys delivered a mind-blowing set of their instrumental, rock/metal music featuring cellos. Sixx A.M. have just released their highly anticipated third album, Modern Vintage on October 7, 2014 release through Eleven Seven Music. Sixx A.M. features James Michael (vocals), DJ Ashba (guitar) and Nikki Sixx (bass). Nikki Sixx bassist comments on the album, “Like our favorite bands from the 1970s, Sixx:A.M. is rooted in songwriting, musicianship and lyrics – three core elements that helped to define that era. Sixx A.M. have released new details about their highly anticipated third album. The album titled, Modern Vintage is set for an October 7, 2014 release through Eleven Seven Music. Sixx A.M. features James Michael (vocals), DJ Ashba (guitar) and Nikki Sixx (bass). They will be releasing their first single, Gotta Get It Right on August 5th and will be available on iTunes. DJ Ashba of Guns n Roses explains why he is back to smoking cigarettes

The controversy over Electronic Cigarettes is heating up! For years now, many smokers have switched over to electronic cigarettes or e-cigs as they are called as to what they thought was a safer alternative. I have had my doubts about that but recently received some confirmation. One of my absolute favorite artists, DJ Ashba, lead guitarist for Guns n Roses, recently explained how E-cigs almost cost him his light. He was trying to quit smoking and chose to switch e-cigs which are supposed to give smokers their nicotine fix without the cancer-causing side effects as tobacco. So they don’t have tobacco but did you know that they may have antifreeze or other dangerous chemicals in them, depending on where you buy them?? That is exactly what DJ Ashba explained when he posted a photo on his Instagram of him smoking. One follower asked about him smoking again, since they thought he quit.
