  Munich, Backstage, Feb. 14th 2017 It was Valentine’s Day and a Tuesday. One might think, probably not the best evening for a live show. BUT…. German Power Metal band Freedom Call have made a stop in Munich during their ‘Master Of Light’ tour and their fans came. As to be expected they didn’t come alone. They brought two bands along on tour with them. First one to play that night were Veonity, a four piece from Vänersborg, Sweden. They started out in 2013 and released their first EP that same year. In early 2015 they released their first full length record, which was followed by their latest effort ‘Into The Void’ in 2016. About six months ago, the German Power Metal band Freedom Call announced the first tour dates for 2017. So, a record release and South America tour later the wait is over.  Freedom Call’s Master Of Light tour through Europe starts on February 7th in Cologne. If you haven’t done already, go grab yourself a ticket and rock out. Here are the dates so far: Their recent record ‘Master Of Light’ was released in November 2016. Freedom Call release new song – Tour through Germany in 2017

German Melodic Metal band Freedom Call released a new song today called ‘Hammer Of The Gods’. It’s the first single from their upcoming record ‘Master Of Light’. There’s no release date set, but it won’t be long. Check out the lyric video for ‘Hammer Of The Gods’ Frontman Chris Bay on the new song: ‘I think that this song with its epic flair gets you in the perfect mood for the new record. Will we start an earthquake with this? Who knows? In any case the song is good for a metallic thunderclap.’ They also announced some long awaited tour dates for February 2017. So far it’s only dates for Germany. They’ll play some festivals this year in Europe, the US and there’s also one date set for Mexico City on Nov. 26th, 2016.
