Hey Violet release LIVE Video for Blank Space cover from first US headliner show at Troubadour

This summer Hey Violet was quite busy rocking the stages with 5 Seconds of Summer  for the Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour.  The highly successful tour has taken them across Europe and through the US.  We brought you our coverage of their first  US headlining show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood which you can check out here: Hey Violet delivers epic set at Troubadour. Hey Violet delivers an energetic solid set for their first headlining US show at Troubadour

Hey Violet have been quite busy rocking the stages with 5 Seconds of Summer this summer for the Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour.  The highly successful tour has taken them across Europe and is currently in the US leg of the tour.  We were excited when we learned of their plans to have their first US headlining show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. The fans were lined up early as the line circled around the block, many of them arriving several hours before doors. Fans came from all over and we even had the chance to chat with a young new singer, Bronnie of Revolution97 who traveled from London. The youthful energy and excitement was running rampant through the crowd as they filled the Troubadour to capacity. The opening act was the very talented James TW, a soulful pop singer from London. He captured the crowd’s attention and we really enjoyed his set. He carries great emotion when he performs and along with his catchy lyrics and soulful voice, he was a definite crowd pleaser. Interview with rockers Vattica at the Viper Room

    Rockers from Hollywood,  Vattica have recently signed with Another Century (Century Records rock label). They recently performed at an industry showcase this past week at the Viper Room. The line wrapped around the block as everyone was excited to see the sets by XO Stereo, Vattica, 9 Electric and Awaken The Empire.  We had the chance to chat with Vattica before their set and are pleased to bring the interview to you here: Vattica have also released a music video fro Run, Baby which you can check out here: The three member band definitely create a nice powerful sound which blends alternative and pop rock nicely into their own style. Vattica features Alexander Millar on lead vocals/guitar, Joey Jane on bass/backing vocals and Prentice on drums/percussion, backing vocals. State Line Empire returned to the Whisky A GoGo for an epic set

State Line Empire returned to the Whisky A GoGo this past Friday for an incredible set. They were opening for Adler and it was a packed house. Interesting enough, the first time I saw State Line Empire play was when they opened for Steven Adler’s previous band, Adler’s Appetite at the Red Devil Lounge a few years back. The venue was packed and the energy was overflowing as State Line Empire took to the stage. They completely rocked the house and sounded solid. Adler ROCKS The Whisky A GoGo

This past Friday was a night to remember.  We made the trek down to Hollywood to catch Adler perform at The Whisky A GoGo.  The night included great sets by many bands, especially one of our favorite bands, State Line Empire who fired up the crowd with full energy shortly before Adler took to the stage. We didn’t get the chance for our interview with Adler as time was tight and also there were so many family and friends who came out to see Adler perform.  The support was awesome and you could really feel the energy amongst everyone. We hope to bring you an interview with them soon so we can talk about their upcoming South America tour, new music and the return to the stage. One of our longtime favorite bands, Hey Violet have put out a new video. The video is for their song, I’m There and I love how it captures the innocence of this fast rising band. One thing you will always remember about Hey Violet is the honesty and passion that they put in their music. They are some of the most determined hard working bands I have seen out there and especially at their young age.
