On the new cover, Malia tells us: “Chase and I really enjoyed recording this song and are really happy with how it came out–also slightly shocked we were able to get a good take pretty quickly! I always love collaborating with good friends, and the holidays are the perfect time to come together and make something magical.” Check out the video here: Malia recently released her debut self-titled EP, “Malia Grace,” which can be streamed in full via Spotify. The EP was crowd funded through a successful Indiegogo campaign, and features seven original tracks that beautifully meld pop sensibilities with the soft and soulful touch of Malia’s pealing vocals.  Make sure to visit her social media sites and stay up to date on the latest news and upcoming tour info. Like Torches from Sweden release new music video for Swing By Swing

December 14, 2015

Straight from Stockholm, Sweden is a great new young band that is well deserving of your attention! Check out Like Torches as they release their new music video for their song, Swing By Swing. The song is off their soon to be released album, Shelter which is set for a January 22nd release via Rude Records. Lead singer Jonathan Kärn comments: “‘Swing By Swing’ is the first song we wrote when we began the writing process for our upcoming album Shelter. It’s probably the song that reminds me most about our first record ‘Keep Your Head High’ and I think our fans will appreciate that. It is probably one of the ”poppiest” songs on the record, but still with a hint of nordic heaviness, so I’d say it definitely has more edge. Lyrically the song is really just about how messed up and broken our society is.”  Check out the video here: The album was produced and recorded by Ryan Key (Yellowcard) at Missing Man Recordings in Stockholm. Like Torches have a long time working relationship with [Read More]

Bandits announce upcoming release of KILL Tonight 7″ Vinyl in March

December 10, 2015

The explosive heavy rock trio Bandits have announced that they will be releasing Kill Tonight 7″ Vinyl in March.  You know that we love our vinyl and can’t wait to hear their fierce music on it. This highly anticipated release was mastered by Brian Gardner, the Grammy award-winning engineer who has worked with iconic artists such as Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures. BANDITS are a red-hot bowling ball, shot out of a homemade cannon into the side panel of mid 80’s Ford Bronco. Led by the unmatched chemistry of brother/sister John Demitro (guitar/vox) and LuLu Demitro (bass/keys/vox), and driven by the eruptive drumming of Andrew Oakley (drums), BANDITS have managed to enter a higher society of artistry by discharging a brand unlike any others in the provincial industry. BANDITS find themselves drawing in dazed listeners to a focal point of sound, just before pushing back with enough power and energy to knock the asbestos out of the ceiling of your towns grimy rock club.  With excitement towards the upcoming [Read More]
