The Halo Method takeover the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood Nov. 7th!

The Halo Method is a rock band from Hollywood & Nashville and is definitely one you have to be on the look out for. They are rapidly gaining recognition and I am so glad to see it all happen. I first heard them a couple months back and put them on my list of bands to keep a close eye on. Well of course, things have been so busy that I haven’t taken the time to look at that list. Then, I heard their name again in an interview with Jonny Hetherington of Art of Dying and was so glad I did. Even in those short months, they have accomplished a lot. Rockers, Art of Dying from Canada have a constant spot on my daily music playlist. Their music not only kicks ass in rock n roll but also have such emotionally charged lyrics that many can connect and relate to. I personally, have experienced the power of healing through music by listening to my favorite Art of Dying songs at one of the hardest times in my life. It truly is music to feed your soul wrapped in blazing rock and roll. Against All Will new single, Another Nail in the Coffin is out now!

A lot of my favorite songs are by Against All Will and they have another one out that I am lovin! They have recently released their new single, “Another Nail In The Coffin” and it is available on Itunes. The song has just been added to the Digital Streams via IHeart Radio on the Clear Channel Rock Stations as well as being picked up on radio stations across the country. This song has been on replay for a couple days now and I am just drawn to the incredible vocals by Mizzy Pacheco as he has returned to the band as frontman. Jimmy Allen delivers his amazing guitar hooks and riffs that have you rockin out! Steve Wilson on drums creates some great build-up in the song and Cello Dias on bass brings it all together with his solid basslines. NEW POLITICS announce their headlining tour “Harlem, USA Tour”

Just announced….. Our friends in one of our favorite bands, New Politics which we had the the opportunity to interview on the Uproar tour, have just announced their headlining tour for USA. These guys have been so busy and just keep going. From the first time I saw them in 2010 I called them the Energizer Bunny Meets Nirvana and here they are… like the energizer bunny… they keep going and going and going! They have had quite a year touring on the Uproar Festival, then they set out on Tour in support of Pink and then 30 Seconds to Mars. They are just on fire and this is truly a great year for them. But be prepared, they are starting 2014 off with their own headlining tour across the U.S.A. with special guests Magic Man and Sleeper Agent. Mike Tramp is our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week

This week our Tuesdays Travels pick takes us over to Copenhagen, Denmark to introduce you to a very familiar voice, Mike Tramp. You may know Mike, (honestly… you better know!) from his years with White Lion and Freak of Nature. I loved and still love White Lion. They are definitely one of those ’80s bands that I continue to keep on my regular playlist. Mike Tramp has an extensive and successful career with his solo work as well. He most recently released Cobblestone Street earlier this year and it is amazing! This album truly takes you on a soulful journey with music through Mike’s life. Aftershock Festival was amazing with over 30+ bands in the two days and over 35,000 attendees. Many of those fans were there to see the amazing show that Volbeat put on. I have seen Volbeat five times but this was the first time that I got to see Rob Caggiano play with them. It was an awesome set and they sounded so spot on! They played my favorites Fallen, A Warrior’s Call and my new favorite, Lola Montez. I just love that song soooo much. Check out the video that Rockin Ryan made of “A Warrior’s Call” set to footage and photos from their Aftershock set. One thing is for sure, when Volbeat performs, you really feel the energy from the crowd as well as the band. They create such an intensity that you just can’t help but be drawn to them.
