Heaven’s Basement highlights and interview from Aftershock Festival 2013

Aftershock Festival brought out a whole long list of great bands and one that I was truly looking forward to was Heaven’s Basement!!! We have been listening to them for a while and it was great seeing them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in May. I couldn’t wait to see them live since they truly just rock with their hit single, “Fire, Fire“. So when I saw them on the bill for Aftershock, I couldn’t wait to see them. Well they took over the Ernie Ball stage and truly delivered an arena style performance. These young guys know how to ROCK and had the crowd instantly pumped! Tony Harnell & the Wildflowers featuring Bumblefoot release new video

Today Tony Harnell & the Wildflowers featuring “Bumblefoot” released their video for ‘Burning Daylight” which is off of their new self titled EP. The video is absolutely captivating and is described as a modern day Romeo & Juliet story of eternal love. Written and Directed by Charles Whitcher and Produced by Humble TV. We As Human interview and highlights from Aftershock Festival

This past weekend was one of the largest (if not, the largest!) festival in California; Monster Energy Aftershock Festival held in Sacramento over the weekend. Saturday morning, We As Human from Nashville, TN were the first band to play the main stage and they truly set the perfect tone for the weekend. HIGH ENERGY, IN YOUR FACE, BALLS TO THE WALL, ROCK N ROLL! Sometimes festivals start off with a band that puts out a mediocre performance and then builds them throughout the day. Well this time, that was not the case. We As Human came out and just got the crowd energized and ready to Rock. Interview with Lydia Can’t Breathe as they set out on tour with Otep

Lydia Can’t Breathe, Florida rock/metal band has just hit the road to tour with Otep. These metal fused rockers deliver catchy progressions as they blend growling and natural vocals and wrap them in forthright vocals. They have a sound that will have you wanting more. Nothing More steals the show at Aftershock Festival 2013

Well Nothing More from San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, LA definitely stole the show at the Aftershock Festival. On Saturday they played the Ernie Ball stage and had everyone taking notice of this high energy alternative rock/metal band. We were so glad to catch their set and even more excited when we learned that on Sunday they would be playing the main stage since a couple bands could not make it to the show. What an incredible opportunity for them and they truly did a SPECTACULAR job. We had already been talking with fans about their performance on Saturday and then Sunday, they were the talk of the day!
