Check out the new video from Sweden’s AronChupa for I’m an Albatraoz

October 15, 2014

Sweden’s own DJ/producer/songwriter Aron Ekberg – otherwise known as AronChupa – has unveiled the official music video for his smash hit single “I’m An Albatraoz.” The track was originally released in Sweden in August, and has since garnered over 20 million streams on Spotify (on its way to triple platinum) and over 1 million views on YouTube. “I’m An Albatraoz” was released on iTunes in the U.S. last week, and the official video premiered exclusively on VEVO on 10/13. Aron had spent quite some time wanting to create music in English, so he asked his sister if she could sing on a track that he began producing. The result was “I’m An Albatraoz,” which exploded to #1 on Spotify in Sweden and topped the viral charts. “I think this is insane and unreal, but very, very fun,” says AronChupa on his success. “I will try to live in this moment as much as I can, because it could all be over tomorrow.” Check out the video here: You can purchase on iTunes: http://smarturl.it/Albatraoz  or Stream on [Read More]

About the new video,  “We set out to just make a straight performance video for this song, but when we arrived at the location it just spiraled out of control. Before we knew it we were sharpening sickle and chasing the residents around the farm with an axe. As you do. Maybe we watch too many horror movies…:  .Check out the new video here: In case you missed the first two videos, check them out below: The first is Six Six Six and Crilly explains,  “It’s been a while since we’ve released anything new so we knew we had to deliver something intense. The song is like a prelude to the whole album, it’s frantic and energetic and the video is a visual representation of that. We didn’t want to distract with a storyline, just the four of us in a room letting the world know [Read More]

The first single of the album is the anthemic rock song, Dangerous, which Josh commented, “When we started writing that, we were kind of wanting to write a song that every time you listened to it, driving down the road, you will probably end up getting a speeding ticket because it just makes you want to drive fast. And you know, it just, at that point in time when we were writing it, that was basically when Nate got his diagnosis and you know lots, lots of things trying to hold us down, hold us back, stop us from continuing on and in the end all of that struggle and that fight we had to, we had to endure, it made us better than we were before. Basically it is what the song [Read More]
