July 10, 2023

Johnny O’Neil recently announced the release of his third album “Brand New Day”. Johnny recently released the music video for the lead single from the album, also titles “Brand New Day.” The video can be viewed here: Johnny O’Neil speaking about the new video, “We wanted to capture the energy of the full band through incorporating video technology that we haven’t utilized before, courtesy of our amazing videographers, Brianna and Kurt Jorgensen. Regarding the song itself, following such difficult and tumultuous times that we have all been through over the past three years, I thought it was important to put out a record that rejuvenates people. Although we’re still struggling in many ways, I wanted to say that it’s time to move on and look forward to a better day. The chorus of ‘Brand New Day’ – ‘I’m alive, I’m feeling fine’ – is about getting through one of the weirdest eras the world has ever seen with positivity and hope.” You can stream and purchase “Brand New Day” at: http://johnnyoneil.hearnow.com/ 1. L.S. Dunes release new song and video for Benadryl Subreddit

June 23, 2023

L.S. Dunes vocalist Anthony Green, guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Tim Payne, guitarist Travis Stever, and drummer Tucker Rule unveil a dazzling new psyche-metal track Benadryl Subreddit. The track was produced by Alex Newport (Mars Volta, Frank Turner, City & Colour) and recorded at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, CA. About the track: Frank Iero: “Benadryl’s title comes from a conversation that Mikey Way (My Chemical Romance) and I were having one night on tour about sober guys finding out legal ways of getting high without doing actual drugs and messing with their sobriety. The music for this song came about when I knew we were going into the desert to record with Alex Newport at Rancho De La Luna. I had just received a new guitar in the mail from Ben Wasser at Guitarworks called the ‘Shaft’ and I got to thinking about the desert and what I thought that guitar should sound like in that setting. That riff came out immediately. “Benadryl Subreddit” represents the heat of the day out in the desert, sweating bullets and going fast.” Travis [Read More]

Alt rockers LEONE release new video for I Wanna Be

June 22, 2023

Alternative rockers LEONE released a video for their track I Wanna Be. Richie Leone comments about the video, The mesmerizing music video for ‘I Wanna Be’ was brought to life by director Beth Fletcher, and unfolds within the walls of Brooklyn’s iconic House of Yes. Serving as a nod to my poker-loving father, the video revolves around a poker table, where I find myself in cahoots with one of the players. Engaging in a dance of seduction and deceit, our aim is to cheat the game and claim all of the money at stake. This visual metaphor portrays my personal experiences of feeling betrayed and hurt in relationships, despite giving my all. As the video reaches its climax, two undercover figures make a dramatic entrance, and in a surprising turn of events, I am knocked out and taken away while my deceptive “partner” walks off with the money.” Watch the video here:   The song is off their upcoming highly anticipated sophomore EP, GTFOH, is set to be released this August. It’s based on having to go to shopping malls at night for cigarettes and wine and seeing the vast carpark space and lighting surrounded by a little village and a lot of dark trees and country lanes. It’s a really creepy scenario, what if somebody creeps out of there, like a mad lunatic?” Watch the video: The band began [Read More]

VIDEO: Loveless share new single I Hope I’m Not Sick

June 20, 2023

Los Angeles rock duo Loveless which is comprised of vocalist/producer Julian Comeau and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Tirapelli-Jamail has just released an infectiously catchy new track, I Hope I’m Not Sick via BMG/Rise Records. Produced by Comeau alongside Nick Morzov (Animals as Leaders, The Night Game).  Comeau comments about the song which “offers an introspective exploration of the emotional landscape encountered while navigating mental health challenges”. “Sick came from a time when I thought my anxiety and depression were at their worst. For years, I pretended I was fine and that everything was okay, even when I was dealing with excruciating mental anguish and the fear that it was never-ending. Writing this song allowed me to break free from that fear and accept that my mental illness is a part of me that I need to deal with head-on, and not be afraid to face it. I hope it brings others a similar solace.” Check out the song here: Loveless are wrapping up the Sold-Out North American leg of their tour with shows in Los Angeles [Read More]
