Big Tour News for Monster Truck and the premier of their new video for "The Lion"

We featured hard rockers Monster Truck on our Countdown of 14 Bands that will rule in 2014 back in December. Well, with another tour announcement, these guys are set to dominate 2014. In April they will touring with Alter Bridge for an 11 date tour starting off in Dallas, Texas on April 14th.

Then shortly after their Alter Bridge tour, Monster Truck will be heading out on the road with Alice in Chains starting on May 6th in North Charleston, SC. Also, they have been confirmed for several festival performances to include Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, FL (4/26), Sun Fest in West Palm Beach, FL (5/04) and Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH (5/18).

Although, Monster Truck started as a formation of musicians from various Canadian Indie bands, it quickly gained momentum and has brought them front and center in the spotlight. Monster Truck is Jon Harvey on Bass and Vocals, Brandon Bliss on Keys and Vocals, Steve Kiely on Drums and Vocals and Jeremy Widerman on Guitar and Vocals. Together these four guys deliver well crafted and seasoned rock n roll. Monster Truck took home the 2013 Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of The Year which is no surprise to me. The band was recently honored with a Juno Award Nomination for Rock Album of the Year for FURIOSITY. The award will be presented to the winner on March 30 in Winnipeg.

They have successfully revived my love for vintage rock blended with groove filled bass, stellar riffs, thundering drums and powerful vocals. What more can you ask for?
