Burn Halo released a lyric video for their song, “Wolves of War” which is off their new album and it is INSANE!! It definitely has a deep 18 Visions influence….. Heavy! Heavy! Heavy!  It is solid and intense on all levels. “The song ‘Wolves of War’ is a statement of aggression and angst towards all that have never given us a chance. This is our answer to the naysayers. With a foot upon your throat, we will be heard,” says Burn Halo vocalist James Hart. “Our label and management felt confident enough after hearing early demos that they pretty much left us alone during the recording process allowing us to make the record we envisioned, with no compromises and no regrets. This album is that vision.” Check it out here:

We featured Burn Halo on our Countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014. You can read more from that post here.  Burn Halo  was created by James Hart (frontman of Eighteen Visions) sometime in 2007. We have had the pleasure of seeing Burn Halo about a dozen times since 2009  and they always put on an incredible show. James Hart always delivers intense energy with his vocals and Joey Roxx, their kick ass guitarist is right up front and center (well stage left to be exact!) We are excited to see Ryan Frost returned to playing rhythm guitar.

The new album Wolves of War is set for a September 23rd release through Epochal Label Group. The album is the follow-up to their 2011 sophomore effort “Up From the Ashes”, which debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts at #12.

When we ran in to Joey Roxx last September during Aftershock Festival in September, he told us to be prepared for a heavier sound and a throwback to 18 Visions roots. He also gave us a quick interview.  Check out  the interview here:

With the new music, there is no doubt that Burn Halo will be treating us to more shows! Don’t miss them perform on July 25th at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort for That Metal Show. They are also scheduled to perform at this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock Festival on September 14th. We will make sure to bring you all the show coverage.   Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on the album announcements!
