Today for our Countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014, we are looking at number 12! Number 12 goes to Burn Halo!  Burn Halo  was created by James Hart (frontman of Eighteen Visions) sometime in 2007. We have had the pleasure of seeing Burn Halo about a dozen times since 2009  and they always put on an incredible show. James Hart always delivers intense energy with his vocals and Joey Roxx, their kick ass guitarist is right up front and center (well stage left to be exact!) We are excited to see Ryan Frost returned to playing rhythm guitar.

Burn Halo has been busy for the last couple months putting together their final touches on their upcoming album. The most recent update came from a Twitter post by singer James Hart who states that the album has just been sent off for mastering! Check out the post here:

It is awesome to hear that this new album is bringing James back to his 18 Visions roots. We heard it is definitely going to be heavier and people are very excited as we are!  I am sure that they will be doing shows and hopefully a tour in support of the album. We don’t have any confirmation on release date or album name as of yet, but we will keep you posted.

We ran into guitarist, Joey Roxx during Aftershock Festival in September and he was able to give us a quick interview.  Check out  the interview here:

So with the great news of an upcoming Burn Halo album, it will be no surprise when they are ruling in 2014!  Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on the album announcements! I will leave you with one of my favorite songs from Burn Halo, “Tear it Down“.
