Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Empires. From the first time I listened to Empires, I was taken back to the nightlife of the ’90s as I would go club hopping and enjoy grunge, alternative, and mod. It was a time for you to feel the music and literally have it take over you. Empires are an Indie Alternative band from Chicago that do just that. You can’t help but listen to them and be “in the moment”. Fantastic songwriting, blended with grunge vibes, alternative style, and stirring vocals make this band have the winning combination

Empires was formed in 2008 and have successfully two full-length albums, two EPs, and one 7″ single. They are set to release their third full length album, Orphan and is being produced by John Congleton. They have released a video of their new song that is having everyone excited for this new album. Their new song, How Good Does It Feel is awesome and I am soooo in love with it. Those vocals are absolutely mesmerizing!

I love their sound and can’t wait to see them at this year’s Bottle Rock Napa festival. They really are going to be one of the highlights at this year’s festival. They have recently performed at SXSW and have many other upcoming shows. Their upcoming shows are :
