Time to put the spotlight on Grey for some new hard rock!

The other day I heard someone at a concert talking about how they couldn’t find any new music that is good. I instantly remembered a quote from Leon of Ragdoll during one of our interviews as he said, “If you can’t find new music, then you’re the problem”. That is so true because with all the different ways to listen to music, there should never be a reason that you can’t find a new band to check out. Also listen to people when they recommend a band, actually take the time and check them out. If you don’t, you just might be missing what could be your new favorite band.

Perfect example, earlier this week, I received a message from a music lover named Jenna on our Music Junkie Press Facebook page with a recommendation to check out a new band. I am grateful to the recommendation because you know what? I LOVE THEM!!! The band she told me about is Grey and they are an alternative rock/metal band that really deserve to be in the spotlight. How about you check out their lyric video for their song, Use Me:

From the dramatic keys intro opening into some fierce guitars that invite you to take in the most amazing powerful vocals that I have heard in a long time. The vocals of Zoran remind me of the first time I heard Geoff Tate of Queensryche, they are powerful and create such depth and tones within the song. WOW, I really got blown away by them. The well produced song takes you through intense highs and then into sweet melodic lows.

Grey is:

  • Aleksandar Taci – Guitar
  • Chris Wolf – Guitar
  • Dime – Bass
  • Filip – Drums
  • Zoran Misic – Vocals

The song is available on their 5 song EP and each song is strong and highlight the versatility of their style. It is one EP that you will find yourself playing daily since buying it.  Check out another one of their songs, Hope which has some soul touching lyrics that I absolutely love!

This is the world we live in fighting fear to love
And all of your feelings now are telling you to stop
But hope will make you try until the day you die

Make sure to pick up the EP on iTunes here and stay tuned because you will be hearing more from Grey as they take the music scene by storm. It is only a matter time now. We will see if we can bring you an interview with them so you can get to know them better.
