Upon the Water from Southern California have done an excellent job at feeding our need for fresh new style of metalcore. Their style infuses progressive amid ambient melodies and fierce guitars. The six songs take you on a musical journey which brings out emotion and energy and in the end, the need to Rise. Whether you are a fan of metal, metalcore, hard rock, progressive, you will find this album balances their styles well and deliver a well crafted sound.
