Britain’s MONUMENTS is set to release their new album, The Amanuensis which is the follow up to Gnosis which came out in 2012. The title of the album was inspired by author David Mitchell’s novel, “Cloud Atlas”. The complex story lines are the perfect analog for MONUMENTS. Musically the group weaves in and out of themes, motifs, and professor-like note calculations with graceful ease while lyrically THE AMANUENSIScomes from a very different place. “The album is about the Samsara cycle,” reveals guitarist John Browne. “The cyclical existence of life that we are all bound to.”

The song is off of their forthcoming album, The Amanuensis which is set for a July 8th release through Century Media. MONUMENTS also have several upcoming European show dates:
