Rockers Pink Velvet Krush from New York have announced Shane West (formerly of Sacred Edge) as their new bassist replacing Steve Rivera as he left to pursue other opportunities. Steve was instrumental in launching Pink Velvet Krush and the departure was amicable. The band says, “Steve is still part of the family and we wish him well in his future endeavors.”
“Shane officially accepted the job as of today and we’re all very excited. Shane brings a wealth of talent and various elements that will broaden the band on every level.” says front man Doug ‘Savage’ Ramey. Their new EP F.S.O.A. is set to release later this month and they will be heading out on a round of dates in November including a stop at the Rock n Skull Festival in Pekin, IL.
