Kyng is one band that from the first time I saw them in January 2013 to now, just came out strong and have not stopped since. We first saw them perform at the Dean NAMM Jam in 2013 and they were incredible. I knew right away that this power trio was going to be a band that everyone would soon be talking about. Why? Because these three guys create a powerful dose of true rock and roll. Kyng is Eddie Veliz pn Vocals/Guitar, Pepe Clarke on Drums, and Tony Castaneda on Bass/Backup Vocals. These three guys mean business when it comes to delivering a kick ass rock concert. Even Eddie Trunk of That Metal Show mentioned Kyng as a band to check out that he loves during our recent interview here.

They have a sound that might have you reminiscent of early Soundgarden or the classic Led Zeppelin and even take it heavy with hints of Black Sabbath. We just saw them for the 5th time on Sunday night at the Ace of Spades as they are out on tour with Lacuna Coil. From start to finish, they are at 11 the entire time and they crank up the intensity with fierce riffs, thundering drums and melodic yet heavy vocals. Their energy is inescapable as they bring the truth and honesty back into rock, simple yet completely powerful.

Kyng will be out on tour with Lacuna Coil, Eve to Adam and Nothing More through the end of April. No rest for them as they embark on their next tour with Kill Devil Hill and Crobot starting on April 28th at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA. Kyng is set to release their album Burn The Serum on April 15^th through Razor & Tie. This is their second full length album and is going to be a heavy rock treasure. The album was produced by Andrew Alekel (Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Queens of The Stone Age, Clutch) and James A. Rota (Sound City, Fireball Ministry) and was recorded at Grandmaster Recorders LTD and Sword & Shield in Hollywood, CA as well as at Studio 606 in Northridge, CA.
