Fault Line from Upland, California is delivering Modern Classic Rock!

Fault Line from Upland, California is delivering their new brand of music, “Modern Classic” Rock that they describe as loud/rude aggressive blus/rock n roll. What I call it is a perfect match. These guys hit the stage and they are there to ROCK YOU! I had the opportunity to catch them earlier this year as they performed at the historic Whisky in Hollywood, CA and they were awesome. I truly can’t wait for them to come up North here and do a couple shows. If not, I have no problem heading down South to catch their shows. Chicago releases new song, America

Many people can’t name a pop/rock band that has survived six consecutive decades… Well, that honor can be bestowed upon Chicago. Chicago has continuously captured the hearts of many and today they did it again as they released their new song, “America”. The band currently consists of Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, Jimmy Pankow, and Walt Parazaider (who have been with the band since its origins in 1967); Jason Scheff (since 1985); Tris Imboden (since 1990); Keith Howland (since 1995); Lou Pardini (since 2009, though he toured with the band in 1999 and 2007);and Walfredo Reyes (since 2012). You can read our earlier post here. “Coming Home” is off their latest album, “The Other Side” which is available at iTunes or get some cool bundle packages at MerchNow & Fearless Records or head over to your local national and indie retailers. Full Devil Jacket release new song, Seven Times Down

As you may already know Full Devil Jacket from Jackson, TN has been working hard on their new album. It might have been 12 years since their last release but if you have listened to them today, you wouldn’t have guessed it. They are focused, passionate and determined at bringing their big sound hard rock to your ears. Full Devil Jacket is Josh Brown on Vocals, Brian Kirk and Paul Varnick on Guitars, Moose Douglass on Bass and Keith Foster on Drums. They have been busy working with Justin Rimer (12 Stones) at Cross Trax Studios and I just heard one of their first songs from the upcoming album, “Seven Times Down” and it is going to blow your mind!!! Black Label Society “UNBLACKENED” out now!

Black Label Society release their highly awaited CD/DVD of their stripped down performance from the Club Nokia in Los Angeles several months ago. By no means is it stripped down in quality and performance! UNBLACKENED is Unbelievable, whether you are a long time Zakk Wylde and BLS fan or just finding out about this new album. You will be treated to live renditions that create an incredible bluesy rock jam style feel to them. The DVD/CD is quite amazing. It was filmed and recorded earlier this year at famed Los Angeles’ “Club Nokia”. Zakk Wylde in addition to his vocals, plays both guitar and piano, joined by Nick Catanase on guitar, John DeServio on bass/vocals, Chad Szeliga on drums, Derek Sherinian on keyboards/piano, and Greg Locascio providing additional vocals. Interview & Photos of Pop Evil at Aftershock Festival

Last week at the Aftershock Festival I had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite bands live for the 1st time!! I have had several missed opportunities at catching a Pop Evil concert for the last couple years. This time, there was nothing getting in my way. I headed over from the Media Tent to the Ernie Ball stage as fast as I could since Halestorm was taking the main stage. Then as I got closer and closer to the Ernie Ball stage, it was packed die hard Pop Evil fan’s like myself. It is so hard when these festivals have conflicting stage times but it was incredible to see the crowd at the Ernie Ball stage and Pop Evil dominated every second of their set. They truly captivate the audience and everyone was singing along to Trenches and Deal with the Devil. They also played one of my absolute favorites from their new Onyx album, Goodbye My Friend.
