Black Veil Brides release new Lyric video for “Revelation”

May 28, 2013

Revelation This morning at 10 am PST, Youtube was the place to be and they are continuing to get a whirlwind of traffic. Why? Of course, because thousands of fans all over went there to listen and watch the Lyric video for Black Veil Brides, new song ‘Revelation”. Lead Singer Andy Biersack explained a bit about the song on his Instagram post: “Tomorrow the official lyric video for “Revelation” will be released. When writing this song it was originally meant as a sort of “sequel” to “Fallen Angels” however due to time constraints in the process of making the last record we were never able to complete it, but now it’s ready and we can’t wait for you all to hear it and sing along!” You can watch it here: I checked it out and the views skyrocketed in the first minute, and the likes went climbing to over 2,000+ in the first hour! I think it was great and I really liked that it was filmed at one of my favorite places on the [Read More]

Midnight Cinema delivers harmonious symmetry at its finest

May 24, 2013

I wanted to tell you about a new band which is more like reacquanting yourself with a long lost friend. Midnight Cinema is composed of members of  the highly successful band, Thriving Ivory. It is not as much a reincarnation but more of an evolution of their creative talents.  Clayton Stroope  will have you again, magically transported  as his vocals take you on an emotional journey that truly touches your soul.  Drew Cribley’s melodic guitar playing will heightens your senses and Paul Niedermier brings it all together on drums. Midnight Cinema is truly harmonious symmetry at its finest. They are currently working on their EP that will be released in July and if you are near San Francisco, you can join us in going to their EP Release show on July 11th.   They have recently shared their first “hit” off the EP titled, “Hurricane”. I say “hit” because it really is incredible and I can see it having a rapid climb on the charts. I love it. Here is the video for “Hurricane” That [Read More]

Station – our featured band from Rocklahoma lineup not to be missed!

May 23, 2013

Station I told you about Station last week and as promised, here is our interview with Pat. Take a read and you can get to know more about this incredible Rock Band from New York. Also included below is our original post on them! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Music Junkie Press:  How did Station form? Pat:  Station formed in September of 2010 when I met our guitarist Chris. We found each other through the NY music scene and set up a jam session/audition with each other. From that moment on, Chris and I have been working together. * * * * * Music Junkie Press: Who does the writing or is it a collaborative effort? Pat: There is no set way we write. Sometimes it’s one of us with an idea or a group effort. Either way, once we start fleshing out the song, it takes on a life of it’s own that truly makes it sound like Station. Station is the sound of [Read More]

Prepare to be blown away by Centerlink

May 16, 2013

People ask me all the time how do I find my new music. There are so many ways, I get submissions daily, facebook messages, twitter and so much more. Sometimes you just happen to be in the right spot at the right time and you find a treasure! Today I have to tell you about the treasure I found completely accidental. As you know we went to Revolver Golden Gods Awards and we had bestowed upon the great David Draiman (Device and Disturbed) and his wife the award of Best Dressed Couple. I was on Twitter and ran across a tweet (you can see it in the photo slideshow) from a band that sent David Draiman a message about their music. I went to watch it and was BLOWN AWAY. Seriously just BLOWN AWAY. I thought I had found the lost recording of Metallica of 1985!  I went back to check the message so I could see the band name only to see David’s response to them about how the singer had some Hettfield in [Read More]

Check out some new Rock and Roll with Station from New York!

May 16, 2013

Station We have another great rock band from the Rocklahoma lineup to tell you about. They are Station, and even though they sound like they are right off the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, to my surprise they are from New York.  You have Patrick Kearney on Vocals, Chris Lane on guitar, Mike Anderson on Bass and Brian Karl on Drums. I just got their CD “Wired” in the other day after returning from the craziness of Golden Gods Awards/That Metal Show, etc so I was glad to be back and looking forward to  new music.  First, when I opened the envelope, I pulled out the CD and really liked the Cover. It is simple but just screams ROCK.  Secondly, I opened it up to see some pictures of the guys and shots of them at live shows. These guys definitely have a great rock look to them and I was really excited to continue on as I  popped in the CD, hoping they wouldn’t disappoint. Then, right off the start is their first song, “Everything” [Read More]
