To continue our coverage from Diamond Lane‘s CD Release Party from Saturday night….. As I mentioned it was a night full of awesome music. We told you earlier about The Book of Curtis and Diamond Lane, now let us tell you about another highlight of the evening; Love and a .38. Oak Street Blues span across the genres for some alternative country rock

Yes, that is right I called it alternative, country, rock and I might add even hints of electronic, blues and pop. That is exactly what you get from Southern California band, Oak Street Blues.The band was founded by Chris Hall, and with his 15 year history with several bands from a variety of genres, he brought together his influences to create their own unique sound that reminds me of a cross between Tom Petty and Wilco. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Barenaked Ladies. Today I am featuring one of my very personal favorites on the Bottle Rock lineup for this year. Barenaked Ladies often referred as BNL, has been one of my favorite bands for well over 20 years. I think if I look hard enough I could still find my original Gordon CD or maybe even the cassette tape that a friend from Canada gave to me prior. Crazy Famous is based out of Healdsburg, California and features three guys who create a big sound.
