Michael Lee Firkins brings the rockin blues to life at the Jason Becker Not Dead Yet 3 Festival

Another great highlight from the Jason Becker Not Dead Yet 3 Festival was the great set by Michael Lee Firkins featuring Courtney DeAugustine on drums and Dave Rapa on bass. It was amazing as always to watch them perform and Michael is captivating to watch on guitar. He brought the perfect fusion of blues and rock to life at the venue and everyone was enjoying it. I was so glad to see Courtney on drums, we had the chance to catch her perform earlier this year at the Bonzo Bash and she is spectacular with her energetic precision drumming. Dave on bass makes it look so easy as he is knocking out bass lines and always with an infectious smile on his face. Tom Keifer has been busy touring in support of his highly acclaimed solo record, The Way Life Goes. He has been releasing videos for songs off his album. Girls and Boys open for Goo Goo Dolls at Sonoma Mountain Village

Last night we ventured out to the new music venue at Sonoma Mountain Village for the inaugural concert which featured Goo Goo Dolls. It was an awesome night. The Goo Goo Dolls are currently out on tour with Daughtry and the Plain White T’s. This show was off of their regular tour dates and we were unsure if there was going to be an opening band. Our friends in Delta Rose will be opening for Guns n Roses this Saturday, May 24th at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. One thing is for sure, it will be an incredible night and Delta Rose will be delivering another one of their kick ass sets! Delta Rose is one of the best live bands out there. They are such a young band but have showmanship that is well beyond their years. We have been featuring the bands from Saturday night at the Troubadour which was the CD release show of Diamond Lane.
