July 29, 2015

We recently brought you our interview and coverage of Tokio Hotel and their Feel It All World Tour, Part 2 The Club Experience North America leg. You can check out our interview with them and coverage of their set by visiting here: TOKIO HOTEL deliver arena experience to club venue! We were able to catch MXMS as they open for Tokio Hotel out on this leg of the tour. They bring to life their dreamy “funeral pop” that creates a mysterious and inviting vibe to the night. Their unique and addictive sound  “is the multimedia project of singer Ariel Levitan and pianist Jeremy Dawson. Harbored feelings and trauma each had hidden away for a lifetime floated to the surface in Jeremy’s studio they lovingly refer to as “the grave”…. Each story, each moment in their lives they recorded into a lyric, a song, into a vision. Starting with the song”omg”, their dual documented story of a violent, toxic life was born.” You can’t help but be whisked away into a musical journey of raw honest emotion [Read More]

Concert Review: Black Label Society with The New Black at Backstage in Munich by Alexandra Bock

July 20, 2015

Convert Review Black Label Society / The New Black July 19, 2015, Backstage Werk, Munich   It was a hot summer night yesterday, when Black Label Society invited all Berzerkers to another show in Munich. The Backstage Werk was really crowded and the heat inside the venue almost unbearable. But we made it through and the little rainshower outside at the end of the show was welcomed by everyone. But, first things first….. ‘The New Black’, a German band from Würzburg, opened the show. They play a heavy, melodic and groovy sound and really knew how to start a show. After their set, a big curtain was drawn up and shielded the view to the stage. A little after 9 pm an intro started, guitars began to wail, the veil dropped down and with loud cheers from the audience Black Label Society started their set. It was a very guitar driven show, which is to be expected when one of the greatest guitarists is playing in town.  Set list included ‘In This River’, ‘My [Read More]
