Texas Hippie Coalition release video for first single, Monster in Me from forthcoming album, Ride On

August 19, 2014

One of our favorite bands from this year’s Rockstar Mayhem Festival, Texas Hippie Coalition have released a new lyric video. The lyric video is for the first single, Monster In Me which is off their forthcoming album, Ride On and is set for an October 7th release. This song is so BAD ASS! I love it, dirty guitars, seductive lyrics, vocals that grab a hold of you and a beat that just gets deep in your soul.  Check out the lyric video for Monster In Me here: Their new style of music dubbed Red Dirt Metal is definitely receiving a lot of well due praise and I can’t wait to hear their new album. Ride On is due out on October 7th via Carved Records/Caroline Distribution. “It’s like Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top had a child, and Pantera ended up raising it,” exclaims Big Dad Ritch. “We’re Red Dirt Metal. That’s a flag we wave high. There wasn’t a line formed for us, so I created a line and jumped to the front of that bad [Read More]

Five Finger Death Punch spreading an important message with their video for Wrong Side of Heaven

August 15, 2014

Five Finger Death Punch have always been one of my favorite bands. They are not only a band of great musicians but some of the nicest, caring guys in the industry. They were recently featured as one of our Aftershock Festival Bands of the Day as they will be making stop from their co-headlining tour with Volbeat next month for the festival. They have recently released their video for Wrong Side of Heaven and are hard at work delivering an important message about the staggering statistics of returning veterans afflicted and living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Check out the emotionally driven video and truly poignant message here: The video has surpassed a million views in less than weeks time. One thing is certain, Five Finger Death Punch not only wanted to make everyone aware of the situation, but they are doing more than that by insuring that people join forces to assist these veterans. In tandem with the video’s premiere, the group ignited a special crowd-funding campaign for a jersey entitled 5FDP4VETS “No One [Read More]
