Mannequin Pussy delivers powerhouse performance in San Francisco

  Mannequin Pussy brought their I Got Heaven Tour to San Francisco for a sold out show at the August Hall. The tour in support of their fourth studio album, I Got Heaven which was released on March 1, 2024 via Epitaph Records.  We have been blasting the album for a couple months now and have been so excited for the tour to finally make it to the Bay Area. The night kicked off with an explosive set by Soul Glo. Their music blends hardcore punk and hiphop shining a light on the Black American experience.  Their set was absolutely incredible and the crowd reciprocated the intense energy with a massive mosh pit that held strong throughout the set.  Singer Pierce Jordan commanded the crowd and even jumped in to the crowd to mosh. Rotting Out release Nirvana cover “Even In His Youth”

American hardcore punk band Rotting Out have released their raucous cover of Nirvana’s “Even In His Youth” via Pure Noise Records. Speaking on Nirvana, Rotting Out vocalist Walter Delgado comments: “This band has always been an influence in the way I write lyrically, and just an important song growing up, finding it randomly on the internet”. Raised on the sounds of local LA heroes Suicidal Tendencies and Pennywise, yet fully indebted to the thriving Southern California hardcore scene, Rotting Out have continually created some of the most energetic and captivating punk/hardcore being played today. Their music expresses a certain LA grit that is so rarely captured by many hardcore bands. After disbanding from their original band, Dogpile, the band formed in 2007. Since then, they have released two full-length records and two EPs.
