Time to crank up The Criticals new EP Front Door Confrontations

Hailing from Nashville is indie rockers The Criticals (Parker Forbes and Cole Shugart. They have just relesed their new EP Front Door Confrontations on their new label home Fantasy Recoreds. The EP features two of their recently released tracks; Clever Girl, Belmont and All the Way. The Criticals on Front Door Confrontations:  “We recorded this EP in the dead of winter, where it was so cold we stuffed hand warmers in our socks. Okey Dokey are more than alright, they are a must see band

Saturday night, we caught Okey Dokey open up for Zella Day out on the Hot Summer Nights Tour and it was awesome.  I love it when I get to catch a band I am not familiar with and they blow us away. That is exactly what Okey Dokey did for us.  Their music is a addictive blend of 60’s groove pop and indie rock.  Imagine a modern day indie version of the Doors and frontman Aaron Martin channels a Jim Morrison vibe that will have you hooked right from the start. Indie rocker Daniel Ellsworth releases new single, Blurry

Indie rock artist, Daniel Ellsworth released a new song, Blurry. The track is on his new EP WHAT to be released on July 14. Daniel comments about the song, “This is a song about being so completely enamored with someone that everytime you see them the room starts to spin, you start seeing colors, and everything around you starts to blur. I wrote and recorded “Blurry” when I was listening to a ton of Anderson .Paak. The way he incorporates R&B, pop, hip-hop, gospel, jazz, and soul into everything he creates is wildly inspiring. Coming from years in the indie rock world, I wanted to try to push myself to do something in that arena. Social Animals share new single “Adults”

After 1 1/2 years, US Indie-Wave-Rockers Social Animals released their new song “Adults” via Rise/BMG today. “I’ve written this song about the moment, in which you realize, that all your friends are now grown-up and you still look for a lift on Tuesday night”, comments singer Dedric Clark on the track. “Now they have something to say about it and you have to decide, wether you want to listen to it or not.” The Duluth, Minnesota-based band stayed active through the pandemic, wrote new music, and curated shows for live streams on Earmilk, Bandsintown, Dork’s Homeschool Festival and other platforms to present their music. Before the pandemic, Social Animals have been constantly touring – they were direct support to labelmates Angels & Airwaves for US tour dates, followed by a European tour with Ash, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the crisis. Mannequin Pussy release new song and video for “Perfect”

Indie-Punk-band Mannequin Pussy will release a five-song EP on May 21st via Epitaph records. The EP is produced by Will Yip and follows the 2019 released and highly praised album “Patience”, which made it into several annual hit lists (f.e. Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone, Spin, Flood, Vogue). Gloo (UK) present new song “Big Smoke”

UK-Indie rockers Gloo present the video for their new single “Big Smoke”. The catchy track is another sign for a new studio record, which is supposed to be released this year via Hassle Records. “Big Smoke” was recorded with producer Jag Jago (The Maccabees, Jamie T, The Ghost Of A Thousand), just like “Down” and “Work So Hard“. Singer and drummer Mark comments: “It’s so easy to romanticise life… Daydreaming and think that moving to London, getting married or having a nice car can fix all your problems.
